I did something I would have NEVER done in the past

I was taking my kids to my IL's neighbors pool to swim and had them all dressed in their suits and I had my suit on and we got in the van. I had our towels packed and we were headed down the road and I realized we didn't have very much gas in the van. My IL's driveway is REALLY steep and I have run out of gas in their driveway before when on the flat I was in good shape. I knew I better get gas before I went up to their house. I stopped at the gas station and got out of the van and pumped the gas in my swimsuit. NO COVERUP!!! My old coverup is a 3X and way to big on me, so I didn't bother throwing it on. I didn't even jump back in the van and wait for it to pump. I stood outside in my swimsuit, facing the road for all the passerby's to see and was not embarrassed at all. Just a testiment to what this surgery has done for my self esteem. I would have never done that in the past. Not even with my JUMBO towel wrapped around me. Speaking of towels...It is so great to be able to get out of the shower and wrap the bath towel around me and be able to tuck it in and wear it around the house while I get ready. I could never get the bath towel around my body before the surgery, now it totally covers me up. LOVE IT!!! Can't wait to go swimming again soon...the water was only 80 and it was breezy, so we didn't stay in long. Happy Summer, Tabby

OMG What an awesome thing! That is a hugs boost to your ego. Next thing you will know you will be out there with the guys hooting and hollering at ya from the street! Just kidding...you already have the love of your life! What an awesome moment. Isn't it great when we do something and then realize that there was no way that you would have done that a year ago. Tabby!!!!!! I LOVE this WOW moment!!! I'm so proud of you for #1 even being IN a bathing suit (I'm not that brave yet) and #2 pumping gas in it with no cover up!! WTG Girlfriend!!!!! I'm with you on the towel thing. I LOVE wrapping up in one out of the shower and being totally covered. I think I cried the first time I was able to do that. Way To Go Tabby!!! I actually put on my suit from last year, OMG, can I just say, I have no butt??? I definately need a new suit, but with this one on, I actually didn't wear a shirt over it in the pool last weekend. LOVE IT!!!! Molly
