WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN NEXT?

CAN THINGS GET ANY WORSE ? IT'S BEEN A ROTTEN TWO MONTHS, I JUST HOPE THINGS START GETTING BETTER OR I'M GOING TO SHOOT MYSELF. FIRST, BY NOW YOU ALL KNOW THAT MOM PASSED AWAY LAST MONTH, VERY DEVISTATING TO US. SECOND, LAST WEDNESDAY IT GOT VERY HOT HERE, 98 DEGREES W/ HIGH HUMIDITY, SO WHAT WOULD ANY NORMAL PERSON DO? RIGHT, TURN ON THE AIR CONDITIONER, I DID. AFTER FIVE HOURS THE TEMPERATURE WENT DOWN ONE DEGREE. HAD TO CALL THE REPAIR CO. NO FREEON (sp) AND THE THERMOSTAT BROKE, CAN YOU SAY ALOT OF MONEY? THIRD, ON THURSDAY, MY FOUR LEGGED BABY, (3yrs old) MR. MOOGEY BUES, A MAINE COON CAT DEVELOPED REALLY LABORED BREATHING, CALLED THE VET, THEY SAID BRING HIM RIGHT IN. THEY DID X-RAYS THEN HAD TO PULL 363mls OF FLUID OFF HIS LUNGS. 363mls IS ABOUT A QUATER OF A LITER (1lg IV BAG) HIS BREATHING IMPROVED RIGHT AWAY. THE VET THEN TELLS ME HE NEEDS TO SEE A SPECIALIST, TWO HOURS AWAY. SHE THINKS HE MAY HAVE CARDIOMYOPATHY. CARDIOMYOPATY IS A THICKENING OF THE HEART MUSCLES, CAUSING IT TO OVER WORK, MAKING IT HARDER TO BREATH AND SLOWLY DECREASING THE HEART'S ABILITY TO WORK. SHE ALSO SAID HE PROBABLY WON'T LIVE TO BE AN OLD MAN. CAN YOU SAY BROKEN HEART? I CAN. SO TOMORROW I TAKE A FOUR HOUR ROUND TRIP FOR A FELINE CARDIAC ULTRASOUND AND POSSIBLE SURGERY. AM I CRAZY? YES, I'M SINGLE, SO MR. MOOGEY BUES IS MY FOUR LEGGED CHILD. SO, CAN IT GET ANY WORSE? AND WHEN DOES IT GET BETTER? HOPEFULLY SOON. I am so sorry that you have to go through all this. Just remember there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. I know it is easy to think that way when it is not you. And you are not nuts I would do the same thing. We have spent many a pretty pennt on our Smokey the Cat. Keep us updated. My heart goes out to you.
