OK just had to write about a few things. I am packing to go to CO for a trip and a few things occurred to me. A: I can pack my WHOLE wardrobe as I only have gotten 3 pair of capri/shorts in just waiting for the next size and I have 6 shirts. B: When you are smaller the suit case does not need to be so big. Smaller clothes take up WAY less space!!!!! It is so cool As I sat my clothes out to take I thought "Man I could really just pack this in a carry on!!! OK then I thought about the makeup and the vitamins and all the stuff and decided to bring a suitcase but man it was so awesome to see the smaller clothes take up so much less space. C: I FINALLY hit 100 lbs lost! YAY!! I actually now am 101 lost so I am able to go to CO and say I have lost over 100 lbs. Silly I know to most but you all understand that one. I was really hoping I would be able to say that when I went as I know everyone will ask. YAY! I made it!!! I was just a little tickled when I realized this. The last time I took a trip was my wedding in CO and I was at my highest at that point. Everyone cross their fingers for me trying to still fit into the plane seats tomorrow. Can not be any less awkward that it was a year ago. I am still praying for an empty seat beside me though. Still not ready to face the world of taking up someone else's room. Also I will have to do one of my shots on the plane due to all the time I am traveling so I am really hoping that if no one is next to me I can maybe just bundle up a blanket or my jacket and hide that I am doing it. Lets all hope! Am not brave enough to try the restrooms on the plane. If if is full then I will just wait and do it late. Not going to make a scene. Am nervous enough about getting through security with my shots as it is. Dr. said not to worry and wrote a note that it HAS to go on board with me and has to be refrigerated but I am a worry wart so I will worry till I am through it all. We are driving back so no worries on the way back. Thanks for listening to me ramble. I hope you all have a great weekend and I hope I can try and keep up while we are gone. You all keep me sane reading about everything. Big Hugs to everyone! Melissa

Way to go Melissa!!! One hundred pounds, I am so doing the happy dance for you!! I am sure you will fit in the seat. What are your shots for? My hubby is a diabetic and has no problem with taking insulin on the plane or with taking shots. I hope it goes well for you. Congrat's on the 100 pounds!!! Tara

Thank you! I will join you in that YAY!!! I was just diagnosed in March with MS so that is what the shots are for. Thank you so much for telling me about your hubby. That does make me feel better. I am sure it will be fine. They really can not argue with me about it it is a medical thing that I have to have so I am sure it will be fine. Thank you for the reassurance. It actually really helps to hear other people have not had problems. Thanks again!!! Melissa

I didn't realize that you have MS. I have Lupus and I have been told that it is the sister to MS. I have been blessed to have gone into a remission. I am off of all of my Lupus meds right now. Thank God. The wls has changed so much in my life. I was really sick when I was pregnant with my son. My liver and kidneys were failing. I lost a ton of hair and Liam was born about 7 weeks early. It was very scarey. I am so much better right now. Maybe as you lose weight you will see less symptoms. There is always hope. Take care and enjoy your flight and trip. Tara

Melissa!! Congrats on your WOWs!! Isn't it neat to have a small wardrobe...and have the items in it actually be SMALL??? I love that I have choices now when I open my closet as I bought everything to mix and match...but I don't have a huge amount of clothes and still nothing to wear that looks good. Sorry...doing a bit of rambling myself. Extra Congrats on the 101 loss!! OVER 100 pounds is AWESOME to say!! I'm sure you won't have any problems fitting into a seat on the plane. Not sure about the needles though for the injections. However, with a doctor's note, I'm sure it will go okay. Enjoy your trip!!! May you come home with many more WOW moments to share!! Susan

Thank you! I am still getting used to looking at shirts and saying. WOW I really am in a 2x! They just look so small and then they fit and it is such a great feeling! I have done the same thing with mix and match. I hope I have some more WOW moments too. I have not seen family since my wedding in Aug last year and have sent no pictures to anyone so this is the lightest that my family will have seen me in over 15 years. It can only be a good thing Thanks again! Melissa

WOOOO HOOOO on hitting the 100 lb mark. I'm so excited for you. I know what you mean about being able to say OVER 100 lbs. So what if it is only 1 lb over 100...It *IS* OVER 100 lbs. You go girl!!!! I hope that it works out that you can sit by yourself and that you don't have anyone hovering while you have to give yourself your shot. How have you been feeling? Are the shots helping a lot with the pain? My sister FINALLY went back on the Embrel for her Rheumatoid Arthritis and I hope it keeps the pain at bay some. That is so funny about you being able to take your entire wardrobe and it fitting into a carry on. We are girls though and require OH SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST CLOTHES!!!! I'm getting bad about shopping these days. I've built a pretty nice wardrobe. I have trouble deciding what to wear each day beause I like how I look in almost everything these days. Hope you have a great trip. Let us know how it goes. Hugs, Tabby

LOL You go girl with that wardrobe! You deserve it! That is Fred in the morning. Now he has clothes that all look great so it is no longer hey hon does this look ok? LOVE IT! I love that I was able to just walk over to wal mart ... ok so I drive... and just pick up some clothes for the trip. Still weird to not have to look for the largest size they carry. Still frustrating though when the only size you can find is BIGGER than you need. I still laugh at that one. I did not get to sir by myself but ya know what it did not matter. I did not need an extension to fly and I was even able to bring the tray down and put the drink on it. It was awesome. LOL I have clothes on one side of my bag and the is just FULL of STUFF on the other. It is great. All the planes were delayed so I was able to do the bathroom thing in the airport with the shot in a stall and is worked out just great. Had to laugh security could have cared less if I had shots on the plane. They were more concerned with the lip gloss in my purse. Go figure. Thanks and have a great weekend! Melissa
