Hi everyone...

Just wanted to let you know that I am having my gallbladder removed tomorrow at UPMC Northwest Seneca (right here in my own hometown!)....my surgery is scheduled for 11:45 am ... I have to be at the hospital at 10:15, so it is going to be a very long day! They have me scheduled to spend the night, but it is my goal to come home tomorrow!! I'll post as soon as I can! Holly, I know from experience (had the surgery about 7 weeks ago) that you will do just fine. This surgery was a breeze compared to the RNY. The only issues I had was that my head was ready to run, but my body wasn't. That took a bit of time to get back to feeling 100%. I was scheduled to spend the night too, but was sent home 3 hours after surgery because I was doing so well. I'll be thinking about you. Jenn

Hi Holly! Good luck with your surgery today, I'm sure things will be fine. Rest over the weekend and don't over do it. I'm with Tiff.......I'd spend the night just for the rest and relaxation. I'm ALWAYS doing something if I am at home..... Dawn
