WOW moment... or Dawning Moment LOL

Yesterday was a "new life" type day for me. I went out to spray weeds ( a first step for me there in the first place lol) and by the end of the day I had sprayed all the weeds ( we have a huge yard ), pulled all the weeds on the street side of the property, taken all the garbage out, weeded my iris garden, trimmed a section of our hedge AND cleaned it all up and lastly played for 2 hours IN THE SUN outside with Joshua and Bear kicking the ball around and looking for "bugs" lol. Last year you wouldn't have seen my fat hiney 4 steps from the house. I was so proud of myself. Dale came home and was just shocked. He had to help me trim part of the hedge as he is the "saw" guy lol but I promised him if he would do that I would clean EVERYTHING up and I did it. But the true WOW moment was when he said "Do you realized you did all this stuff and didn't have to go sit down once?". I hadn't thought about it till then but he was right. Normally I would have to go sit down every 5 mins as my back and feet would hurt so bad that I was basically worthless as help. This time I helped and did the work the whole time we were doing the project with out sitting down once and that was after a FULL DAY of outside yard work and playing. I feel so bad for him. He has had to do so much work alone around here for a long long time. It was great to be able to surprise him with work he didn't have to do for once AND that he didn't have to clean up after me either, as I would normally start something and be to tired or in to much pain to fini**** *sigh*. I am super proud of him and constantly amazed at the tolerance he has for me lol. What can I say but LIFE IS SO AWESOME when you are thin enough to start enjoying it! *HUGE GRIN* I have a long ways to go but its nice to see the "pay off" along the way. yes, life is great i fit so greatly in with all the normal fat people nowadays. i notice i dont get strange looks any more in the malls, thank goodness.

I know! Isn't that so strange. I used to feel ( no KNOW ) I was the largest woman on the planet lol ok so at least in the store and I noticed the other day that I was actually seeing women LARGER then me for once. I drove hubby nuts going "I think she is larger then me is that true is it????" lolol Ok not so nice but made me feel better to know I wasn't the largest anymore. Its weird to not get "the looks" anymore. *huggles* Felicia =0)

I am proud of you too Felicia! It's a wonderful feeling! My hubby knows how your hubby feels, too....I am all the time asking him...."Am I thinner than her?!" or "Is she heavier than me?!".....LOL.....Life is good...... Hugs, Holly

Mercy Felicia!!! Can I have some of your energy?? I can't believe all you got done yesterday! Way to go!!! Bet it felt FANTASTIC when your hubby pointed out how much you'd done without sitting down.
