B-12 Shot
I got home today to have a telephone message from my surgeons office informing me that they no longer give B-12 shots. I think they could have called me at least more than 1 day prior to my appointment. I'll call them in the morning about it. I am half tempted to show up there and tell them I never got the message.
I need to have them tell my PCP that I need this shot monthly for life. When I last saw him, he didn't want me to get them. He said I didn't need B-12 that often. Grrrr....
Oh well!
I would just show up there like you didn't get the message. If nothing else they should have to tell you that stuff to your face if they are going to "last minute" you like that. Then while your there have them call your PCP about giving the shots before you leave so you are standing there and can make sure it gets done.
Good luck!!

Oh Aime, what a p.i.t.a.!
I get mine from my pcp, but basically because my surgeon told me I have to, so she just does whatever I tell her the surgeon says! In the beginning, she told me I didn't need it that often, maybe 6-8 weeks, but my surgeon said it was low, and I needed it every month, and pcp complies.
