I'm really sorry for your loss. My father and I were very close and he passed away in 1995 from colon cancer. One thing that has gave me great comfort is the fact that the last thing he ever said to me was, "Did you see that Angel up there". I always believed in God, but it never became so apparent to me until I heard this with my own ears. I have no doubt that God sends his angels to escort us to heaven when we go. Have comfort in knowing that your dear mother is with her Saviour. I know we will see them again. Sending loving thoughts your way during your sorrow.
