CARD EXCHANGE AND MOM
Thanks to everyone who has sent this months cards so far. Due to mom's condition I won't be sending out any cards this month but want to continue w/ the exchange.
Mom is still in the hospital and was admitted to hospice this past Monday. As of yesterday I believe she's in a coma. Mom doesn't respond to either my sister or I. She will occasionaly open her eyes when we speak to her but you can see she's not focusing. There are times she gets very agitated and we don't know if she's in any pain since she's not talking. So the staff is giving her ativan and morphine every 4 hours to keep her comfortable. I just wish God would take mom and not have her linger like this. But I know he has his plans and I pray every day and night that his will be done.

Dear Donna,
I am so sorry to read about this.. but you are right in praying for God to complete his plan..and His will..and trust that His plan will be carried out..and then you will realize why these days unfolded as they did. It can be difficult to realize this now..but you sound very faithful and I will add you to my prayer for strength and courage.. It the end everything will be just as it should be.

My heart goes out to you and your family. Your faith will bring you through it and please just remember if He brings us to it He will bring us through it. It is hard to understand sometimes what His plans are but know that He has one and will hold you through it. I am sending you many prayers and big hugs. I will pray that your Mom is at peace and is not in pain.
