10/07 Whats your goal...
I know I dont post here often but I do try to keep up on the reading. Anyway, my surgery was Oct 5. My goal is to be 170 lbs at my 1 yr. That means I have 52 lbs to go. At the rate I have been losing the last couple mnths it seems impossible, however....with the nice weather here I will be exercising alot more.
My highest weight was 359 and right now I am at 222. In 7 mnths I have lost 137 lbs.
My long term goal is to eventually get PS, unfortunately because I am going to have to pay for it.......... it may be a while down the road!
Congrats to everyone on here for achieving all of your mini goals, and best of luck achieving your long term goals!!!

My goal for my surgiversary is to be at my weight goal of 145 and have maintained it for a while. I want to be on a waiting list for plastic surgery. I pray that it will be covered by the crazy governmental insurance that we have.
My life goal is to be "in my head" the weight that I am. I have played a crazy game with myself since I was a child. At 113 pounds and 5 feet 5 inches tall, I owned a gurdle and dressed in black to hide. I didn't want anybody to know "fat" I was. Today at 184 I am proud of myself. I still wear black sometimes but now I love red!! Sometimes I see my reflection in a window or a mirror and I wonder why some weirdo is staring at me, then I realize that I am that weido! LOL
It takes so long for the brain to adjust but I know that I am getting control over it. I know that I am enjoying each and everyday. This surgery was a gift and I hope I never lose appriciation for it and most of all I know that the support that this board has offered is helping me!!
Thanks Girls,
Tara
What a great question!
My weight goal is to be at 165, and hopefully stabilized for a while.
My life goal is
1) To clean up some messy relationship issues that have been plaguing me for a while.
2) Have exercise be a regular part of my life.
3) Decrease my stress at work, even if it means taking a transfer to a job that is less demanding.
4) Spend time with the wonderful man in my life.
