WOW moment!
Good morning!!
The sun is shining here this morning and it is a gorgeous Spring day, although they are calling for thunderstorms later this afternoon!!!
I went to York, PA over the weekend to visit my parents and my brother and sister and their families. My mom has been saving her clothes for me....I am now officially in a size 14!!!! YIPPPEEEE!!!!! I also wear a size Large top!! I cannot even remember the last time I wore those sizes!! My mom had me try on a pair of pants that were a size 12 and I said, "Mom, I don't think these will fit!" Well, imagine my surprise!! THEY ACTUALLY FIT!!!!!!! I even felt thin and looked thin to myself when I looked in the mirror!!
When I weighed myself on my mom's scales they said 167!! My next mini goal is to be 160 when I go back to my surgeon in June!!
Size 14and 12 that is GREAT!!!
I am having such a hard time wrapping my head around what size I am actually fitting into. I went to the consignment stores today and bought some plain old size large shirts. I haven't worn that size since well before the babies (who are age 11 and 9 now) and I was able to buy some 16 and 14 pants. I don't think the reality of it has sunk in. I kept bringing in clothes that were way to big for me and wondering why I look so crappy! DOH!
One of my promises to myself was that I was going to enjoy the size that I am in and not hide behind baggy or black clothes. So far so good.
I hope you are enjoying every minute of this wonderful ride too and it sure sounds that way!!!!
