Drs Appt...

Ok so I had another Drs appt today as a follow-up from my last surgery and to check my blood work out. During my gall bladder flare up my CT came back with concerns for my colon. I don't understand why they couldn't do anything while I was in surgery for my gall bladder or when I was hospitalized the week before vs making me now go under again for a colonoscopy. I am still tired a lot. My body has been through so much the last 7 months. I have terrible pain on my left side (which was there prior to my last surgery) at first the dr thought it was a hernia and now he says he doubts that. Sometime when I sit or a certain way I sit it feels like my ribs are hitting something which causes me sever pain and sometimes it just hurt because it wants to. I just want to make sure everything is alright. Mind you I would never regret having my RNY I just want a break from drs and pain. I figured at somepoint there would be a side effect but not this soon out. I sure hope everyone is doing ok. I just needed to vent for a second and wish that the pain would go away.

YOU COME RIGHT AHEAD AND VENT HONEY, THAT'S WHAT WE'RE HERE FOR. JUST THE OTHER DAY I WENT ON AND ON ABOUT MY MOTHER AND HER LUNG CANCER. EVEN THOUGH WE'RE NOT SPEAKING FACE TO FACE WE CAN ALL UNDERSTAND AND BE THERE FOR EACH OTHER. I'M SO SORRY YOU'RE HAVING TO GO THROUGH ANOTHER PROCEDURE, IT'S SEEMS AS IF IT'S NOT ONE THING IT'S ANOTHER. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS IS THAT YOU MORE THAN LIKELY WILL NOT BE "PUT UNDER" BUT YOU WILL BE GIVEN AN IV SEDATIVE THAT WILL MAKE YOU NOT REMEMBER A THING, NO TUBE DOWN THE THROAT, THANK GOD! I'M PRAYING THAT EVERYTHING WILL GE FINE AND THEY'LL FIND OUT WHAT THE PAIN IS AND WHAT'S GOING ON W/ THE COLON. LET US KNOW THE RESULTS. DONNA, SFY

Susan, I'm so sorry you are having to undergo another procedure. Good luck with it and please let us know the results. When will it happen? It does seem silly that they didn't check into this earlier as they knew there was something going on.... Don't blame you for being tired of being sick and dealing with doctors, appts, and testing. Take care of yourself and come here anytime to vent. Susan

I am starting to really hate doctors. Everytime I go to one ofr one thing- they find another. I think I am on a hiatus from that for the moment. It does get old. hang in there. I hope you fell better soon.
