MY FINGER

Well I saw the hand dr today. He said I could keep the splint off now for good and I need to go to therapy 3 times a week for 6 weeks then go back to see him. I will have to learn how to bend and use my finger again. Will keep you all posted on how I am doing. Hugs Judy

Congrats on getting the splint off Judy!! But, sorry you'll have to go to PT so much. OUCHIE!! But, it's all worth it in the end. Take care and remember to follow their directions. Susan

Dr told me I could also do the therapy at home...But why should I??? Let my neighbor pay this...Its her dog that caused it all!!!!! I will do the pt and hope it works for my finger to be useful again!!! Thanks!! Hugs Judy

Hi Maria....Well 4 weeks ago I was walking my little dog and my neighbors dog attacked him and I was beating on the big dog and I fell and not sure if finger broke when I fell or when I was beating on that dog trying to save mine....Its been in a splint for 4 weeks and today the splint came off and now I start therapy for 6 weeks 3 times a week.
