EMOTIONAL DISASTER

Treasure the time you have with your mom. just sit with her and watch the daisies grow. it is in these quiet times that the most precious things are said, and the most precious memories are created. my mom passed away 8 years ago, and my memories of her are simply beautiful. when i stress too much, my mom visits me in my dream and say 'everything will be alright' which calms me greatly. do not fear being alone, cos even though someone you love may have passed on, they will never leave your side

Donna, My thoughts and prayers are going out for your mom and you. I am very sorry that you are having to go through such a difficult time. Being in the medical field you see so much, but when it hits home, it is a different story. I know how you feel and what you are going through. We found out last July that my mom has kidney failure. She has denied any treatment. Her K continues to go up and it is only a matter of time. The only thing that we can do is cherish each moment that we have and let her know that we love her and adore her. I am also dealing with my mother-in-law that had a stroke last week. My husband and I are holding each other up and taking care of each other during this time. You and your sister hold on to each other and help each other all you can. Let your mom know just how special she is to you and let God take care of the rest. I am sure your mom is a very sweet lady and shouldn't go through this pain and suffering.
