Keeping on the Wagon - Thursday
Rough morning already. The Boy called about an hour ago - his grandmother passed away this morning. With 9 days to go until the wedding - the timing isn't the best - but she was ready to go (she was 92).
My plan for the day:
B: Pro-Complex w/ skim milk (30)
S: multi grain crackers (2g)
L: Low carb lean cuisine (15)
S: NSA Tapioca pudding (4)
Tide me over until dinner: light string cheese (9)
D: Chicken and veggies (20g)
Fluids: I didnt think I would make my goal yesterday I left work way behind, but I managed to do 32oz in the car driving around between lessons and shopping..this brought me back to where I needed to be. Today I'm shooting for 90oz or so.
Excercise: nada today - too much to do!
Thanks, she was older, and sick, and tired, and ready to go. The first time I met her I commented on how sharp she was for a women her age...her comment was "I wake up every morning and say 'Dear Lord, what the hell am I still doing here?' " She was a big Paul Deen fan too. The last few months however, she developed dementia and went downhill very fast. It was time.
PATTI,
SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE BOY'S GRANDMOTHER. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO YOU, THE BOY AND HIS FAMILY.

Some days planning flys out the window. So here I am to say..I ate NOTHING on my list (with the exception of the pro-complex for breakfast)..... My coworkers took me for my "bachelorette luncheon" to a fancy schmancy place, so I ate well..but stayed within my limits. Brought a lot home with me. Then we had my future niece's 1st grade play to attend...The Boy picked me up here at work and we grabbed dinner before going to the play.
This is what my day actually looked like:
B: Pro-Complex w/ skim milk and 1/2 inch of a donught (curses to the woman who brought them in to work today...I'm glad I was satisfied with just a corner of a piece).
S: a few pretzels
L: A couple of spoonfulls of french onion soup. FILLET MIGNON (2oz) and some steamed broccoli, a bite of salad (it was dressed with a sweet dressing - so I didn't eat any more of it. Fresh berries (with a taste of the fresh homemade whipped cream - but I pushed most of that to the side).
S: none (still full from lunch)
D: SaladWorks - mandarin chicken salad...chicken, manarin oranges (only ate a few), one or two of the craisins, cucumbers, carrots, broccoli....fat free balsamic w/ sun dried tomatoes...I had them hold the crunchy noodles on the top. I ate all the chicken (yum), the cuckes and some of the fruity goodness....I managed about 1/4 cup of the spring garden mix of greens. That was THE BEST salad I have had in ages (it's amazing how good something tastes when you don't eat it often).
Water - I reached my goal
Excercise - We ran across the parking lot into the school. That was it.
