QOTD - Tuesday

I love these QOTD. I learn so much about each of you! 1. Which days do you have trash pick up? Who puts out the trash? Mondays. Me... or my teenage son. 2. What did you have for dinner last night? Small beef tenderloin steak. Asparagus 3. About how many hours of tv do you watch per day? Too much. I use it for background noise. Considering taking the TV out of my bedroom.... 4. What is your favorite breed of dog? Schnauzers and poodles 5. What is your favorite breed of cat? Siamese 6. Do you have fish? What kind/kinds? No fish - except for dinner 7. Do you have a pet bird? Have you ever? What was it? If you don't/haven't, did/do you want one? Which kind? I had a canary when I was a kid. Loved that bird. As an older child, we had ****ateils, toucans, owls and other various exotic or injured animals. (Mom was the local woman that people brought injured animals or animals that they could not longer care for.) 8. How much is gas in your area? $3.19 Ouch 9. Do you have plans for a vacation this summer? Where will you go? What will you do? A conference in Atlanta. A trip to a Mexican beach somewhere. Taking the sailboat out on a lake or two. 10. What is one of your favorite memories Watching my two sons play with their grandparents - before Dad started getting sick and their lives changed to revolving around healthcare issues. Dad just adored my sons, and the photos and videos are some of my most treasured memories. I'm missing Dad today - can you tell?

1. Which days do you have trash pick up? Who puts out the trash? It rotates every week and on the 5th week we have no pick. Recycle is the same thing. Hubby and kids put the trash. I was unable to carry it for so long, but now I take advantage, shhh don't tell!! 2. What did you have for dinner last night? Fish and chips, all homemade and baked. 3. About how many hours of tv do you watch per day? About 3 hours give or take. I T-Vo everything and watch on fast forward. 4. What is your favorite breed of dog? I have a ****a-poo, so I will have to go with that. 5. What is your favorite breed of cat? Two rescued cats, so again going with that. 6. Do you have fish? What kind/kinds? Just what we eat for supper. 7. Do you have a pet bird? Have you ever? What was it? If you don't/haven't, did/do you want one? Which kind? No birdies, always had cats and was worried the cats would have them for lunch 8. How much is gas in your area? $1.02 a litre. Not sure how many litres in a gallon. At least 2 or maybe three??? 9. Do you have plans for a vacation this summer? Where will you go? What will you do? Vacation next week to Niagara Falls. Then a summer High School reunion in New Brunswick, and taking in PEI and Nova Scotia. 10. What is one of your favorite memories? Almost anything involving my grandmother, mother or children.

1. Which days do you have trash pick up? Who puts out the trash? Ours is on Thursday and Hubby puts it out. 2. What did you have for dinner last night? Last night we had Coconut/Papaya Tilapia that I got from a local fish market along with some brocolli and carrots in garlic and herb seasoning. 3. About how many hours of tv do you watch per day? TOO MANY!!! I also DVR what I like to watch and watch it when I get a chance. I watch TV the whole time I am working (unless I am sleeping...hee hee) 4. What is your favorite breed of dog? I had a miniature schnauzer when I was growing up and loved her. Also kept one of her pups. Loved my Heidi and Rudy. My sister has a King Charles ****er Spaniel. It is so precious. I would love one of those, but would have to work an extra week of OT to pay for it. 5. What is your favorite breed of cat? Not a cat person AT ALL!!! 6. Do you have fish? What kind/kinds? Nope, no fish. Also, just fish for dinner. 7. Do you have a pet bird? Have you ever? What was it? If you don't/haven't, did/do you want one? Which kind? Never cared to have a bird. Too much cleanup. 8. How much is gas in your area? It is $2.79 here. 9. Do you have plans for a vacation this summer? Where will you go? What will you do? No plans for summer vacation yet. I will make a couple of trips to Columbus to visit my sister. I want to go SOMEWHERE with hubby. We will probably go to Cedar Point or Kings Island with the kids at some point. 10. What is one of your favorite memories? Walking along the traintracks (that weren't being used) with my grandfather over to our little town to the little store that had penny candy and then grandpa would give us each a quarter to buy some candy, then going back to their house and eating our candy from the little brown bags.
