Keeping on the Wagon - Monday
Welcome spring? Woke up to 3 inches of snow and gale force winds this morning. Made poor shoe choice and am now sitting here at work, with no shoes or socks on and my feet wrapped in a polar fleese. I'm sooo cold.
12 days to go to the "big day" - was a busy weekend. I went shopping for honeymoon clothing. It was actually harder than shopping had been before surgery. Before surgery I would have gone to a "big gals" store and shopped the largest size (with the exeption of some stores - where I was the next to the largest size). Now I am not quite sure where I should be shopping. Some stores I'm in a misses 18, some stores, I am still in plus sizes. We ended up at some outlets and I found some capris and tops. Finally after getting totally frustrated we hit the good old standby of Fashion Bug - there I had both sizes of the store to work off of, and I got an equal amount of things from both halves of the store. I think I'm set now.
Ok, on to my plan for the day. I have no confessions for the weekend. It was a really, really good weekend, food, activity, fluids, I managed to work it all in (without pre-planning!)
Today:
B: pro-complex w/ skim milk (30g)
S: cafe vanilla (International foods) caffiene and sugar free w/ skim milk added (4g)
L: chicken catchetore (sp?) homemade from the weekend (20g)
S: q smart bar (10g) or string cheese (9g)
D: going out with a friend if this weather improves at all. (15-20g low fat / low carb)
Fluids: I'm couting my "coffee drink" my feet are blocks of ice and I needed a hot drink. Other that that - it will be plain water. (34 oz before lunch - 32 after - 30 or so this evening).
Activity - no lunch time walk today for obvious reasons (dang nor'easter!)...no gym tonight, it's a 2 lesson night and then I have to meet up with a friend - she has my jewelry for the wedding and I have some other things to get too. I may count "mall walking" as my activity for the day.

Today I'm trying your idea of eating backwards to see if it helps my wanting to snack in the evening hours. Although I have bought some things that are WLS friendly - not too many calories, protein included, low fat/carb stuff. We'll see how today goes. I'm actually eating a steak for BREAKFAST....and tonight will have ham and sides for dinner (finally cooking our Easter meal, lol) but lunch today will be small and simple. Not sure what yet, but it won't be much I'm sure. Maybe s/f CIB w/skim milk. That sounds yummy right now. OR half a whole grain english muffin with s/f strawberry jam. MMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmm That also sounds good. LOL I don't know why I'm thinking about food so much. I'm still working on my steak and I am NOT hungry at all! Oh well...

ANOTHER BORING DAY OF EATING. HAVING LEFT OVERS FROM YESTERDAY.
B: OATMEAL W/ RASINS
L: 1 SLICE OF RYE BREAD W/ 1 SLICE OF LOW SODIUM ROAST BEEF, 2 SLICES OF LOW SODIUM HAM AND 1 SLICE OF LOW SODIUM/LOW FAT SWISS CHEESE.
D: ROTISERIE CHICKEN, ASPARAGUS
FLUIDS: 16oz WALMART SUGAR FREE CHERRY LIMEAIDE, 16oz COFFEE, WILL TRY TO GET IN THE REST BY THE TIME I GO TO BED. NOT MOTIVATED.
EXERCISE: NADA, NOPE, NOTHING, JUST WALKED DOWN 2 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS, DOWN, NOT UP BUT DOWN, HOW LAZY CAN I GET. DON'T WANT TO LEAVE THE HOUSE THAT MUCH ON MY DAYS OFF. NEED TO STAY CLOSE BECAUSE MOM IS NOT FEELING GREAT. DON'T KNOW IF IT'S THE CANCER OR SOMETHING ELSE.

Mmmm, chicken and aspargus sounds so good to me right now!
And, 1 sf peppermint pattie? thats pretty good. Just think, 6months ago you could have been typing...I ate a whole bag of (non sugar-free) peppermint patties. (which by the way - are one of my favorite candies)
