6 month post op visit...

I had my 6 month post op visit on Thursday. I am down to 172 pounds -- 80 pounds since surgery in October and 110 pounds since I started this journey April 11, 2006. She is pleased with my progress so far! I go back for my 8 mth checkup in June. As far as my test results, she thinks the radiologists *****ad my Upper GI had no clue what the anatomy of someone who has had Gastric Bypass looks like....she does think that I am having gallbladder problems with the pain I have in my back, so she is sending me for a Hiddascan on April 25 and depending on what it says will determine the next step of action! I am relieved it isn't something more serious the way the technician talked after my Upper GI! My next goal is to be 160 by my next appt. June 7! That's 12 pounds.....I can do it!! Hugs, Holly

Glad your appt went well and that they put your mind at ease about your upper GI results. Sorry to hear you have to wait until the 25th for your Hiddascan. I know you can lose 12 pounds in the next two months!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!! I'm here cheering for you!!!! Hugs, Tabby
