Jus****ched "The Philadelphia Story" on TCM and "The Great Dictator" is on now. GD, but Chaplin was a genius.
I've been job hunting, which is very wearing. Fighting against feeling depressed...anxious...suicidal...but am doing much better now. Ya really learn a lot about yourself and about the people you've invited into your life when times are tough.
Yesterday, I accepted an offer for a job I really wanted. I will start Tuesday and am very excited about it. Good opportunity, good company, good compensations.
I also heard from my doc's office regarding bloodwork I had last week. Blood sugar is normal. No diabetes. I screamed in the poor girl's ear when she told me. This is the best new I could have had. Topped off the day just right.
On the not so good side, I may be having gall bladder trouble. I've had this particular back pain for awhile now. Assumed it was muscular, but I was at a 6-month surgery support group last week and people were talkign about gall bladder trouble and mentioned this back pain...turns out it sounds a whole lot like mine. I'm supposed to see my surgeon this week, but may have to wait till next. I'm scheduled to see him the day I start my new job. Anyhow, I'm still hoping it's muscular.
Hope others here are well.
Lisa
Oh, Lisa...so sorry to hear that you were having such a hard time. Hope things are looking up for you. Congrats on the new job. Please let us know how it goes.
Congrats on the bloodwork. Glad to hear that your blood sugar was normal. YOU GO GIRL!!! One of the best side effects of the surgery. LOL.
WOW...I didn't know about back pain being a sign of gall bladder trouble. I now know to look for that. Hope you get some answers from your surgeon about the pain you have been having. Best of luck at your 6 month check up. Let us know how that goes, too.
Hugs,
