Keeping on the Wagon Thursday
Man...I just typed this all out, and then didn't follow through all the way with the posting, so now it's gone.
Here we go. Things are so stressful right now. My mom's best friend died yesterday, so now we are scrambling to get out to the other end of the state (Washington, PA) for the funeral. We'll have to make the trip there and back in one day as the wedding is only 2 weeks away and funds are short - don't want to waste precious dollars on a hotel. Not to mention that my brakes in the car gave up the ghost this week, I've been driving around with the metal on metal grinding noise waiting for payday (tomorrow) so that I can have them replaced. And...should I mention that my seamstress quit on me (she took one look at the dress and how much it has to come in and said "no way!")
With that said...confessions (not due to stress eating - due to actual hunger).
Yesterday - 1/4 of a lemon bar (note..I do not say 1 whole lemon bar or ...as I would have before...1/2 pan of lemon bars). Today - 1 mini danish (I actually read the ingredients..it had 3g of sugar and 50 calories...and 1g of protein as it was cheese filled)..I dont feel guilty about it one bit.
Todays plan (partially altered already because that danish came calling)
B: procomplex (30g)
S: 1 serving peanuts (altered to 1/2 serving nuts and 1 mini danish) 5g
L: Lean Cuisine (13g)
S: light string cheese (9g)
Pre-working: ham (10g)
D: Tilapia (20g)
Fluids: 80+oz of plain old water is the plan.
Excercise: no lunch walk - it's raining. I hour of water aerobics tonight.
Anyone else have a plan?
I never have an eating plan. I usually eat the same things just about every day.
I am scared of sugar so I have not had any refined sugar since last September. I am so scared of dumping! So I have no idea of whether I am a "dumper" or not. I have noticed that my stomach gets upset if I eat too much fat.
You new picture looks amazing!!! Look at those collar bones!!! No wonder your dress has to be taken in so much. You will make a beautiful bride.
I hope things work out with the car and the funeral.
Good Luck
Tara
Thanks for the compliment. That was one of a set of pictures I took for "the boy" in my "sexy clothes". Normally I don't look like that though
As far as the dumping, I was SOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed when I discovered I don't dump. Now it's back to the constant battle and the reminders that "nothing tastes as good as thin feels." Today was a good day - loads of temptation and besides the early morning slip, I fought down every one.
I absolutely MUST plan every day. I with my work hours and then my "second job" - which involves traveling in the evenings to various homes to teach piano lessons, then the gym..I am not home much. Without a "plan" I find myself scrambling to make sure I am getting the nutrients I need or making poor choices. Usually I stand at the fridge in the morning and plan it all out into a bag and off I go with a days worth of protein.

Susan

2 c coffee with 4 oz. skim milk (4g)
s: 1/2 42 gr. protein vial (21 g)

confessions: i had some rainbow sprinkles on my ice cream (i'm sure that they were not fat free or sugar free, but i think they are at least 50% wax!) i'll have to look them up.
exercise: only running around all day with my daughter and future son-in-law making wedding plans... i should go down and get on my gazzelle, but i don't think that is going to happen tonight.
i hope everyone had a great day!!!
i'm happy the phillies are on t.v. but i'm not happy that they are down a run!
best,
patricia
i am such a nitwit...
i wasn't going to do the actual "keeping on the wagon", i was just going to tell you how GREAT your new pic is...
but as usual, my fingers start and my head stops... so i did the food and forgot to tell you that i absolutely love the new pic and can't wait to see the wedding pics.
we have our nephew's bar mitzvah on the 28th, but i will be thinking of you and clarke. i think we finally came up with a date for my daughter. her wedding will be july 1st. that means that we have only 80 short days to plan this shindig!!
oh, and i think we might go to the phils game tomorrow night? what about you?
patricia
Thanks for the compliment. No Phils for us tomorrow. Besides...it's supposed to be POURING!!
Enjoy the time with your daughter. We planed ours in 4 months, the shorter the engagement the better. If you find yourself needing anything, ribbon, baskets, ideas...let me know - I may end up having tons leftover.
