HUGS JUDY
hi judy,
i also have been sick a lot since surgery. maybe our resistance is just lower. that is what i have blamed it on. now i am dealing with a headache that i can't get rid of. it's been about 3 weeks, and never quite goes away, but is sometimes horrendous. i just finished a medrol dose pac (steroid) to help break the cycle of pain, but so far it hasn't really helped.
i can comisserate with you though.
feel better soon,
patricia
Judy, I to seem to be bit by the cold bug. Yesterday I felt like I have worked out with weights all day on Saturday and the only thing I really did we bowl 2 games with my kids. Today my head is stuffed up and I just feel like my head is cloudy. I know alot have to be from having 2 weeks of 80 degree plus weather and now back down to the 20s at night. I am trying to combat it a little by using a water add in called Vita Splash which flavors the water you drink while adding vitamins. You can get it at Wal-Mart and other grocery stores in different flavors. I am drinking the Multi-Vitamin (which gives you 50% of your daily RDA for 16 different vitamins and minerals) strawberry tangerine flavor (not to bad) and I am also drinking the Immune building one atleast once a day which gives you so other vitamins including 100% RDA of vitamin C plus e*****ea. Power Edge also has an energy powder add in for energy.
I hope you get to feeling better soon.

HEY JUDY,
SO SORRY TO HEAR YOU'VE GOTTEN SO MANY COLDS SINCE WE'VE ALL STARTED THIS JOURNEY. A LOT OF TIMES W/ SUCH A DRASTIC CHANGE IN OUR SYSTEMS OUR RESISTANCE GOES DOWN AND MAKES US MUCH MORE VULNERALBE (sp) TO DIFFERENT TYPES OF BUGS. BESIDES YOUR ROUTINE VITS DO YOU TAKE B-12? OR SOME VITAMIN C?
FROM WHAT YOU'RE SAYING IT SOUNDS MORE LIKE ALLERGIES THAN A COLD. HAVE YOU TRIED ANY TYLENOL SINUS TO SEE IF THAT WOULD HELP? JUST A SUGGESTION.
HOPE YOU'RE FEELING BETTER SOON.
DONNA, SFY
Nope I have a cold....Sore throat, cough, watering eyes, sneezing, stuffed nose and running nose.
Not taking anything I am not supposed to take. I am on one prenatal vitamin and four citracal calcium citrate with vit d is all I take now. Oh and my effexor. Nothing else. I am doing a protein drink every morning and that has vitamins in it also.
Thanks for your suggestions though....Hugs Judy
Sorry to hear you are having more problems since surgery Judy. Big hugs to you sweetie. Hope you are feeling better soon.
I haven't had more problems since surgery, but I'm load up on vitamins every day. I take a multivitamin, citracal, B-12, B-1, B-complex, and Vitamin C. All these were recommended by my surgeon, except the B-1. I decided to take that after all the articles I saw about that W (forgot the name) syndrome.
Take care of yourself. Get plenty of rest and drink extra fluids. We want you WELL!!!
Susan
