Happy Easter Everyone
Hello all. Just wanted to take a minute here to wish all of you a happy and blessed Easter. I hope all of you get to be with family or loved ones and can relax and enjoy the day. For me it is making up the baskets for the girls, yes they still get baskets at 29,25,24 years old. Jessi and I even colored Easter eggs this morning and Erin and Kris decorated them at their own home. I sure am glad they have never outgrown the old family traditions. But with working and all things have been pretty busy for me. I am now full time as the activities assistant director and am loving it. These old people really get into your heart and I care and think about them so much. They just want to be loved and appreciated and my day is just full of love and gratitude that they give to me. To see them so happy because you take the time to stop and say hi to them or to give them a little hug, just lights up my day . I find at work I am having trouble getting my water in at times. I come down to the office for a bit and drink from my bottle then, but then I am off again to do something and am gone for an hour before I can drink again. I do try to hit the water fountain every time I pass it, but still not like when I was home and had my water bottle by me all the time. But I am getting the exercise in. I walked 4.2 miles up and down the halls yesterday. Then like all working women, have to come home and deal with the house and dinner and all. So it has been busy around here. I think of you all daily and miss you, but for now, it has been such a long time since I have been this happy. Loving and living life to it's fullest daily. So everyone take care, have a wonderful holiday and enjoy........Love.......Gay
