Sorry about missing yesterday. It was a CRAZY day for me. I barely got on the computer at all. When I did, it was to log into Fitday and right back off again. Busy, busy, busy!! Here are today's questions....late...but better late than never, right?

Thanks for the diversion! Work is completely quiet today. I think I am the only one in the building.
1. What is your favorite saying/quote? "Out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks."
2. Who is one of your favorite historical characters? Why? Benjamin Franklin- I guess - but never really thought about it. Because of his ingenuity, integrity and the local connection.
3. What subject did you enjoy most in high school? English
4. Did you go to college? What was your major? Yes - Houghton College in Western New York. I majored in Comminication with a concentration in Radio Management and a minor in technical writing / journalism.
5. What was your first "real" job? loads or part-time jobs in high school. My first "real" job after college was managing a small radio station (think Northen Exposure small) in a village in Alaska.
6. Do you know how to play golf? Do you play often? If you don't know how, do you want to learn? I can play mini-golf. But yes, I want to learn "real" golf someday soon. We are thinking of giving it a try on the honeymoon (honestly this doesn't sound good - but it depends on how much money we receive as wedding gifts - as that will be funding any "activities" on the honeymoon...we may just end up sitting on the beach doing nothing for the week).
7. What are you having/had for lunch today? I had some leftover chinese food - chicken and broccoli. I gave it a rinse to remove some of the evil salt before I zapped it in the microwave. Didn't taste all that great - but I got my protein in.
8. Do you need noise (music, tv, etc) at night to fall asleep or does it have to be completely quiet? I sleep to the tv, but it's turned down VERY low.
9. What are the three websites you visit most often? livejournal.com (where my blog is), myspace (yes, I admit I have one), and obesityhelp.com (of course)
10. Who is your favorite contestant on American Idol? If you don'****ch, who have you heard the most about? Melinda Doolittle all the way baby! Sanjaya has GOT TO GO!

2. Who is one of your favorite historical characters? That is a hard one. Most likely Hellen Kellar. Why? Because she overcame despite her disabilities.

5. What was your first "real" job? I worked at a produce stand. I called it Horny Harold's. The owner, Harold, was this hugely obese man that would find ways to touch we females as he passed by. I didn't work there too long.
