good morning my oct. oh friends,
i posted a picture of me from the phillie's game yesterday. not so much for weight loss purposes, just more of a "this is me" kind of thing.
my daughter, 22, and i took my neices, 11 and ten, to the game yesterday afternoon. we had such a blast. we called it "girls' day out", and we had the girls from about 2pm until we took them home at 10pm. after the game we went back to my daughter's house because she was smart enough to record the game, and the little girls wanted to see themselves on t.v. so we watched a little bit of ourselves on television, fast forwarding to all the lefty batters where you can see our seats. then my daughter printed up pics of the 4 of us for each of us, and a single of each of us, and then put all of the pics she took on a disc for each of the girls and me. the girls were sooooo good, and didn't complain about the cold. it felt more like we were at an eagle's game and even had on and off snow flurries!
i'm not going to leave the pics of my neices up for very long... but i wanted you all to see what a great time we had.

I'm so glad you had a good time. We don't have season tickets and only go when someone gives us free tickets (like the one pre-season game). When we really feel like an evening of baseball we usually head to Wilmington, Delaware and watch the Blue Rocks (much cheaper).
I fell asleep before the news last night so I didnt' get a chance to peak to see if I could spot you in the crowd.
And, it really was a COLD COLD day for baseball - definately more like football weather.
