Okay, posting these early again as I have a busy day planned tomorrow. I am going into Corpus Christi tomorrow - stopping at the music store to pay the rental for my kids instruments (love rent to own programs), then having my hair cut - and maybe a pedicure if the lady is there tomorrow, should've called for an appt, but forgot - then stopping to see friends at my old workplace, maybe having lunch with some of them and then off to grocery shop. I will get home just in time to pick up the kids from school. Wow...it's gonna be a busy, busy day! I LOVE IT!!! On to the questions.... 1. What was your first thought this morning? 2. Good Morning, Susan. Sounds like a very busy day, indeed. Hope you get your pedi and enjoy your lunch. 1. What was your first thought this morning? I'm still working, but yesterday when I woke up it was "Wonder if the scale went down." 2. Are you scared to climb too high on a ladder? How high is "too high" for you? I usually just do like the smaller ladders and only go about 4 rungs up. 3. Do you enjoy roller coasters? I did when I was younger. Haven't been on one in years because of my size. I'll give them a shot again this summer. 4. What is your favorite theme park? When was the last time you went? I loved Ceder Point when I was growing up because it was the roller coaster capital. I have not been there in YEARS!!! I will probably take the kids to meet my sister there this summer. She gets a season pass because they live in Ohio and her kids love the roller coasters. 5. How many oz of non-calorie, non-carbonated, decaf fluids (ie, water) do you try to consume every day? I try to drink at least 64 oz of water a day, but this week trying for more. 6. Do you prefer torch lamps or table lamps? I prefer table lamps over torch lamps, but prefer overhead lights to lamps. 7. Do you like to play games on-line? What is your favorite game/site? Nope, don't play online anymore. Several years ago I played backgammon on Yahoo! Games. 8. What flavor toothpaste do you use? Mentadent Mint whatever. 9. We lived in a bigger farm house and all 3 of us had our own rooms. We got along pretty good. There is 2 years difference between me and my younger and older sisters. 10. Do you know how to sew? I love Kennywood....its been a couple of years....I love Conneaut Lake PArk, too....we went last year but I didn't ride anything at all!! 5. 1. What was your first thought this morning? What day is it? (my first thought EVERY day). 2. Are you scared to climb too high on a ladder? How high is "too high" for you? Not any more. I used to be terrified, couldn't get past the 3rd or 4th rung. The other week The Boy was up in a sound booth (he does techie kind of stuff) and called me to get his glasses out of the car and bring them to the bottom of the ladder and toss them up or he would climb down for them. Man, it was a high ladder too! By the time I got out to the car, grabbed the glasses and got to the bottom of the ladder the band was playing so loudly I knew he wouldn't hear his cell phone ring, so...I started climbing (glasses in my teeth)..up, up, and up....I got all the way up into the booth, snuck up behind him and stuck his glasses right on his face...boy was he surprised and boy was I! 3. Do you enjoy roller coasters? I did, a lot. I had major brain, skull, and spine surgery almost 6 years ago though - I've been told no more roller coasters for me. 4. What is your favorite theme park? When was the last time you went? Hershey Park -6 years ago - the summer before my surgery - but I didn't ride much - I was too big to fit on most rides. 5. How many oz of non-calorie, non-carbonated, decaf fluids (ie, water) do you try to consume every day? 90+ 6. Do you prefer torch lamps or table lamps? Table lamps, easy to change the look by just changing the shade etc. 7. Do you like to play games on-line? What is your favorite game/site? Yes, but I haven't in months. Yahoo or MSN are my favorites. Favorite game was jewel quest last time I played. 8. What flavor toothpaste do you use? Citrus Breeze 9. Did you have to share a room with a sibling when you were young? Did you like it or hate it? Did you get along? What was the age difference? Yes, my sister and I shared a room, she was 7 years older than me. It was ok, I think I minded it less than she did! We got along, but she was always convincing me to do strange things. She took my bed and stuck it on top of 2 dressers and called it a loft...convinced me to sleep up there for almost a year. The space underneath the bed was my "secret space" and I was supposed to stay in there and leave the rest of the room to her. 10. Do you know how to sew? Do you make clothes or household items (curtains, pillows, etc)? Ha! No! Or not really....I took 2 years of home-ec in junior high - rocked on the cooking 1/2 of the year - stunk at the sewing. My friends would make fun of me because I spent more time at my desk with a seam ripped than over at the machines sewing. However, I want to sew (you heard me right) the table cloths for the wedding reception myself. I'm crazy, I know it.

How high is "too high" for you? Nope, heights have never been a problem for me. I regularly use all 20 feet of my extension ladder and have worked as high as 40 feet on scaffolding. 3. She got married when I was 2. I never shared a room until I got married. Talk about an adjustment. 10. Do you know how to sew? Do you make clothes or household items (curtains, pillows, etc)? I can sew. I prefer to make things for my house. I just don't have the patience for clothing and the sizes are never quite right. I have been making lots of billow-y Victorian style draperies for my house because the store-bought ones are just too expensive.
