Deanne....Tabby.....Angela....

1. Has anyone heard from Deanne?? 2. Did her gift arrive?! I suppose we wouldn't know if we haven't heard from her! 3. How are Tabby's kids? 4. How is Tabby's hubby doing since his surgery?!? 5. How is Angela? Haven't heard from her for a few days!!

Hi, Holly!!! The kids are doing better today. The night before last Nate woke up puking again. He got his bed that time. URGH!!! My plan was to take off work last night and keep them home from daycare and pre-k, but as I was climbing in bed at 6:30, both kids were crawling out of our bed. I said "If you won't sleep a little more and let me sleep, you are going to school." And they did. They were fine all day. I worked last night and got a couple of hours sleep this morning. Nate woke up at 8:30 and Meg right after him. Dave left this morning for Atlantic City and I told myself that I was going to do a little housecleaning while he was gone to surprise him. I made a list of things to do the next two days and said I wasn't going to get online until I had part of the list done. I worked on it some this morning. Then when the kids went down for a nap I laid down, too. We all took an hour and a half nap and just woke up. Dave is feeling great. He is still tired, which I remember that feeling, but is doing well otherwise. He is able to eat most of what I fix for dinner. Mostly chicken right now. He was down 31 lbs from the start of his pre-op diet, when he went in for his 1 month followup, which was actually just 3 weeks post-op. I'm anxious to see how much he has lost since then. His next appt is in the beginning of May. I thought it was supposed to be his 3 month appt, but once again it is early and is actually on 2 months and a week. You'd think they could get closer than that for him. Not tonight I am off to a Pampered Chef party (food temptation) and tomorrow is my girls night (dinner and shopping)...I can't wait!!! Thank you Holly for checking in on me. I have returned home but I am just not happy! I need to be honest with myself and him and I just don't think it is going to work. I don't know if any of you all are going through rediscovering yourself but that is what I am doing. I have been told that I have changed and after talking with my therapist today I have figured out that yes I have changed from the outside and people are perceiving me differently because I look different. I will say I am more confident but that is about all that has changed from my point of view...but apparently it is different or I am different. I still feel like the same person just feeling better about my self. Starting to actually love myself for the first time in forever. I would love to know about Deanne also!! Hugs,

Holly, I tried to call deanne today while I was at work. Once again I got her voice mail. Left another message w/ my cell phone number hoping she'll return my call. I'll keep trying at least once a week. I don't want to be a pain in the a$$. Donna, sfy
