QOTD - Thursday

Sorry I'm a bit behind this morning. I only hopped on the computer last night to put my food into Fitday, so I've been reading the message boards this morning catching up. Was exhausted last night, so I went to bed and actually managed to go to sleep by 11:00 pm!!! Hoping to have a repeat of that tonight. Wish me luck. Now...on to the questions: 1. What is your favorite tree? 2. What is your favorite flower? 3. What is your favorite vegetable? 4. What is your favorite meat? 5. What is your favorite restaurant? 6. What is your favorite vacation spot? 7. What is your favorite tv show? 8. What is your favorite snack? 9. What is your favorite outfit? 10. What is your favorite room in your house? Okay...I know these were lame today. But, I'm still sleepy. Need a nap desperately I'll try to put more thought into tomorrow's QOTD. Susan

1. What is your favorite tree? Either an oak tree or a weeping willow 2. What is your favorite flower? This is hard to choose. I love so many of them...but my favorites would probably be roses and day lillies. They both remind me of home. My mom has a huge rose garden and also has day lillies all around her house. At one time she had over 100 varieties. She has a major green thumb! Too bad I didn't inherit it!! 3. What is your favorite vegetable? probably broccoli - and I'm SO happy that I can eat it again!! YIPPEE!! 4. What is your favorite meat? Steak...and ham....and turkey.....and the list goes on. I'm a major carnivore. 5. What is your favorite restaurant? Currently I've been enjoying one of our local mexican places. I also love Applebees and TGIFridays (though I haven't been there in a while) 6. What is your favorite vacation spot? The Smoky Mountains!!! My parents and I used to go quite often when I was young. I can't wait to take my kids there some day. 7. What is your favorite tv show? I'm addicted to tv and watch WAY too much of it. My favorite show would probably be House. LOVE that show...and Hugh Laurie is soooo dang sexy!! 8. What is your favorite snack? Multigrain Tostitos with salsa. Can't eat much and don't eat it often....but definitely enjoy it when I do. 9. What is your favorite outfit? My khaki capri pants with my coral scoop neck shirt. Although, the pants are starting to get big. I need to go buy new ones!!! 10. What is your favorite room in your house? My living room....or my kitchen. I spend massive amounts of time in both. I love them because it's where I spend time with my family...and also where I relax when they are all gone or in bed. Both rooms are big and spacious and just relaxing places to be.

1. What is your favorite tree? Cherry or Japanese Maple (pretty!) 2. What is your favorite flower? Black Eyed Susans 3. What is your favorite vegetable? Raw - cucumber, Cooked - broccoli 4. What is your favorite meat? steak 5. What is your favorite restaurant? Cheesecake Factory (haven't been there post op) 6. What is your favorite vacation spot? For relaxation - The Outer Banks, for fun and andventure - Alaska 7. What is your favorite tv show? Just one? Grays Anatomy 8. What is your favorite snack? light string cheese and South Beach multigrain crackers. 9. What is your favorite outfit? Hmmmmmm (thinking), this week it is a pair of black denim leggins (size 1x), a black "wife beater", and a dark red, low cut, baby doll long sleeved top. 10. What is your favorite room in your house? In The Boy's house it's the kitchen - so bright and colorful, in my place it's my bedroom, for no particular reason other than thats the only room I really spend any time in when I'm there.

What is your favorite snack? Sunflower seeds 9. What is your favorite outfit? Black capri's and red shirt (they are the only items of clothing I own that acutally fit me) 10. What is your favorite room in your house? Family Room

Did the ending of Lost make you scream last night?

Oh my gosh yes!! I jumped when I saw her eyes open. I can't imagine what could happen next.

1. What is your favorite tree? Dogwood Tree...or Weeping Willow....I love Holly bushes....not sure if they are considered a tree....but they are gorgeous! 2. What is your favorite flower? Rose....yellow! 3. What is your favorite vegetable? Peas 4. What is your favorite meat? Chicken 5. What is your favorite restaurant? Valley Dairy....they let me order off the Senior menu!!!! 6. What is your favorite vacation spot? Oil Creek Campground!! We went camping there for a week a few years ago....it was awful! Every relative (the ones I can't stand) came and saw us EVERY single day!!! They would come at like 10 am and leave at 10 pm....have breakfast, lunch and dinner with us and think nothing of it! We learned our lesson, we don't tell anyone when we are going camping....although we always tell our one neighbor, just in case of an emergency! 7. What is your favorite tv show? American Idol 8. What is your favorite snack? Rice Cakes 9. What is your favorite outfit? Jeans and form fitting shirts, I can wear them now!!! 10. What is your favorite room in your house? TV room--where our family gathers!

1. What is your favorite tree? Oak...or evergreens...or hawthorne...or...weeping willow....or...Love 'em all! 2. What is your favorite flower? Rose. 3. What is your favorite vegetable? Oh, I'm crazy about veg! Can't choose one...but esp. like mushrooms, all types of onions, tomatoes, asparagus (yum!). 4. What is your favorite meat? Before surgery, it was a charred and bloody steakhouse steak...now, it's whatever stays down! 5. What is your favorite restaurant? The City Tavern, in downtown Philly. It's a rebuilt 18th century tavern/restaurant that uses 18th century recipes and decor. The food and ambience are wonderful. 6. What is your favorite vacation spot? Beside any ocean. 7. What is your favorite tv show? I'm equally hooked on Rome (which just ended ), Eureka, Life on Mars, Nip/Tuck and the new Battlestar Galactica. 8. What is your favorite snack? I no longer have one. Food has become...functional. 9. What is your favorite outfit? At the moment, it's this denim skirt I just fit into last week, with any top/jacket that hides my middle. 10. What is your favorite room in your house? My bedroom.
