Busy Day Ahead....
Hey all...
I've got to roll basically 3 days into one today - yesterday I barely got anything accomplished in the house. Tomorrow I will get little to nothing done...so today I've gotta do all 3 together, for the most part. I have my list made and am ready to check things off as I come to them....wish me luck - I'm going to need it.
But, I've got my running shoes on - literally - and I'm ready to go. I will be back on my next break to post the QOTD for you all to enjoy. I've already written them down (last night) just have to type them in. But, I just looked at the clock and I've been at the computer WAY longer than I thought! YIKES!!!
Have a great day everyone!! Hugs and kisses to all!!

Well....yesterday I had errands all day that kept me out of the house - which the kids had destroyed over the weekend and I didn't get straightened yesterday. And, tomorrow morning I have an appt with my PCP that's 35 minutes away, errands to run while I'm in that town, then back home for maybe 2-3 hours when I have to pick up my little ones from school early, meet my hubby and go to my oldest two sons band competition tomorrow afternoon which is 45 minutes away from where we live. Won't be home till late dinner time, so I'm thinking either eating out or a crock pot night tomorrow night. Either way, everything I normally do on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday needs to happen today.
So, I made a list of the top 20 important things that must be done and am working on it. I can't believe that in 2 hours I've already accomplished half the list! Of course, they were the easy things...but still, half the list is completed!! Can't wait to get the rest done so I can relax.

Wow, you do have a busy day! I do not envy you. Maybe I need to make a list of what I have to get done each day, then maybe I will see some accomplishments! Great idea! Sounds like you are staying on task and crossing things off the list quickly!
Maybe you could use one of those tasty looking recipes that Felicia posted last week for your crock pot. I am going to try one this weekend when I have more time on my hands!
How do you like living in Texas? My husband keeps talking about wanting to move there.
Hi Kari!
Yes, it's a very busy day. I'm taking another break after sweeping and mopping the kitchen and both bathrooms. Now I just need to vac and dust and I'm DONE! Thank goodness!
Having a list definitely keeps me on task. If I try to clean without one, I just wander aimlessly around doing a little here and a little there...and the day flies by and nothing actually get accomplished. With my list, I can get the house clean fairly quickly and move on to things I WANT to do.
TX is great. I love it here. Love the whole state, actually. I would love to move back when my hubby retires from the military...but doubt we will. He's more interested in living in AL....and I'd rather be in TN if we retire to that area....I keep telling him that TX is a great compromise. We'll see what happens.

I think I've finished the list....or at least as much as I'm going to do today. If it's not done, it can wait till my short time at home tomorrow....or it will just have to wait till Thursday. I've got the important things completed, the rest was "if I have time or feel up to it." I'm exhausted. I worked hard and fast to get it all finished. Now I'm going to relax until it's time to pick up the boys from school.
Plus, I'm thinking about running back over to K-mart this evening to return the bras I bought that are WAY too small (UGH!!!!!) and to try and find some that might actually fit. Wish me luck. Plus, the boys all need socks again. HOW do they go thru them so quickly? I think there were a few other items on my list of what I need to buy at K-Mart, but am not positive. I'll have to go look.
As for going to bed early tonight, I hope I can. I have insomnia really bad. Will be asking my PCP about that tomorrow also to see if he has any suggestions. I'd rather not take a sleeping pill every night. May have to wait and talk to my surgeon about it on Apr 10 when I go for my next appt with him. Hopefully this hard work will help me sleep well tonight. I could go to sleep now quite easily, actually, but by 9-10 tonight, I'll be wide awake again. UGH....
