Signs of Spring!!!
Signs of SPRING!!!
Sunday I saw a red-winged blackbird. Forget about robins, they don't mind a freeze or two, but re-winged blackbirds really mena spring is here to stay.
Yesterday we had our first pair of Goldfinches on the bird feeder.
AND the #1 sign that spring is here - Bob Evans is advertising their Chicken Salad!!!
WOW moment yesterday evening. I got the chairs out of the shed for the front porch and as I was preparing to tie the cushions on them I thought, "Last year I had to sit down to tie each one on, and rest between chairs." This year I just went from one to the other and tied the cushions on. I didn't have to sit to do it. I could bend over, lift the chair or whatever it took to do the job. I didn't have to stop to catch my breath.
I am loving my new life.

Isn't it great to have so many signs of Spring. I did see my first Robins this morning. I was so excited. It was in the high 70's yesterday and is supposed to go to the high 70's again today. The kids seem to feel better this morning, so I am going to let them go outside to play on the swingset when it warms up a little more today.
I want to start getting out my outdoor furniture and powerwash the front porch. I need to paint my swing and front door because we put siding on the house last fall and the old swing and door and porch for that matter don't match the new siding. The house used to be yellow and now it is grey and white. The pea green door and swing don't match at all. Bugs me when I drive past the house.
Hope you have a great Spring Day!!!
Hugs,
Tabby
Spring has sprung!!! Isn't it great?? I love Spring! We are talking about getting hummingbird feeders for our back yard. I've gotta go looking for them this weekend so we can get them out in time to attract them. They come in early here as it's so warm.
As for the cushions....YOU GO GIRL!!! That is AWESOME!!! Isn't life wonderful on the Losing Side?? I am just amazed every day at what I'm able to do...and from everyone else's posts, I can tell you all are living life to the fullest also!
