5 Month update and pictures

My 5 month "surgiversary" was yesterday. I didn't even think about it until lunchtime when The Boy said something. My wow moment came on Saturday morning. Several months ago I bought a pair of tan pants (I can't spell kakhi...but you know what I mean)....I thought they were 24s (the size I wore at the time), but when I got home I held them up and they looked so...TINY....they were inspected by #24 grrrrr , really they were a size 18. Grrrrr. The old me would have just shoved them somewhere, tossed them, or taken them back. The new me carefully hung them up in the closet at my apartment and I waited. Saturday morning I was doing a lot of cleaning at my place, and sorting and, and, and...I was in the closet and came across those pants. I looked at them and thought, "you know, they don't look so small now." So, I pulled them out and they slipped right up over the hips, they buttoned and zipped with ease and they looked, FANTASTIC! I proceded to pull out every bag of clothes I had tucked away (people have given me things in all sorts of sizes) and I found that everything fit. I picked pieces I liked and ditched those I didn't (after all...I'm skinnier now...I can wear whatever I want - not just what "fits"). Enough rambling. I posted my 5 month pics on my profile. The shirt was too big - so they aren't that amazing, but I'm still getting happier and happier about the way I look in pictures!
