Update

Good afternoon! It is absolutely beautiful here today although they are calling for thunderstorms later this afternoon. I had an appt. with my PCP today and was telling him about me having the dry heaves every now and then and that my surgeon said to watch because it could be my gallbladder and my PCP agreed, so he is sending me for an Upper GI and an ultrasound next Monday morning. He said the ultrasound will show the gallbladder and something else will show how it functions.... I wanted to be 175 when I went today and I was close, I was 177. I'd like to be 170 before my 6 month check up with my surgeon which is April 12. I'll keep you posted on my tests! Holly

OH, Holly...sorry to hear that you may be having problems with your gallbladder. I hope that you don't have to get it out. Good luck to you on Monday. Way to go on being so close to where you wanted to be for your appt today. 2 lbs off is GREAT!!! My 6 month appt is on April 12th, too. What time is your appt and where are you going for it. I will be at Magee at 1:45, I believe. It would be great to meet you. I want to be 182 at my appt...a 100 lb loss...I was 187 today...5 more lbs to go in 2 1/2 weeks. Can we do it???? I'm going to give it a good try and if I am not there, I won't beat myself up because I have lost 95 lbs in 5 1/2 months. How's that???? Let me know about your appt. Hugs, Tabby

HOLLY, SORRY TO HEAR YOU'RE HAVING THE DRY HEAVES. I DON'T WHICH IS WORSE, THOSE OR THE EMPTING THE CONTENTS OF YOUR STOMACH. HOPEFULLY, THE US WILL SHOW THE PROBLEM. THE OTHER THING THEY MAY DO IS A HYDASCAN, IT SHOWS THE EJECTION FRACTURE OF THE GALLBLADDER. PLEASE KEEP US UPDATED ON THE RESULTS. I'M SO JEALOUS, YOU'RE AT 177 ? I CAN ONLY DREAM OF THE DAY I SEE THAT NUMBER. I WEIGHED MYSELF AT THE ONCOLOGISTS OFFICE TODAY AND I WEIGHED 223, DOWN FROM 227 LAST WEEK. THAT'S 4 POUNDS IN A WEEK. YES !!!!!!!! DON'T FORGET, LET US KNOW WHAT THE SCANS SHOW. DONNA, SFY
