Fish Oil?

Someone told me that they are taking fish oil capsules and it has really made a difference in their hair, ie: coming in thicker... this was not a wls patient, just someone who had some thinning issues. Have any of you heard this being a benefit of taking fish oil?

As a child my grandmother swore by Geletin Capsules. She said it was good for nails, hair and skin. I don't think that either would hurt to try. Give it a go and see what happens. Maybe talk to the doc or the Nut first to be sure. Tara

Hi Michelle, I started taking my fish oil again because it helps with cholesterol, but I have noticed that I haven't had the hair loss issue that so many of you on here talk about.... Holly

Hey Michelle! I took fish oil capsules a few years ago and let me just say WOW! It really helped with my hair and nails. Not sure about taking them now. However, if you talk to your doc or NUT, please pass along the info! If I could take them again and help my hair, I'm all for it!! Susan
