Took the kids to the park today!!!

I usually don't do a thing on Thursdays except catnap on the couch while the kids are watching movie after movie. I work Wednesday nights and usually only get a couple of hours of sleep after work before they wake up for the day. Well, today the temp was supposed to be around 70 degrees, so I was determined not to keep the kids cooped up because I was too tired. I fed them breakfast and then got my shower and got ready. I packed a picnic lunch and got the kids ready and we headed out the door. They were calling for rain today, so I didn't want to miss the window of nice weather. We got to the park around 11:30 and stayed until 1:30. They ran all over the playground and I chased them down with the camera. I pushed them on the swing and helped them on the jungle gyms. We were taking a brisk walk around the duck pond when I felt the first sprinkle, so we headed for the car. Just as we were driving out of the park the rain started to come. JUST IN TIME!!! We came home and Meg went straight down for her nap. I usually take that time on Thursdays to get a nap, too, but I feel pretty good right now, so I am holding out and will hopefully go to bed earlier tonight to get a good nights sleep tonight. On another note...I went to a consignment store yesterday and the only thing I saw for myself was a denim skirt. It was a size 14, but I figured for $5 I would get it to "shrink" in to. I got home and tried it on to see how close I was to it fitting and IT FIT!!! It buttoned and zipped right up, no sucking it in at all. Even a little loose. It is so cute. I can't wait until a nice day to wear it with one of my new 14/16 tops. YAY!!! At the rate I am losing now, I don't have to worry about it not fitting me next week. Hope everyone else is having a great Thursday!!! I'm off to the dentist in an hour, so that may ruin my great day. Just kidding...just our 6 month checkup. Hugs to all, Tabby

Hi Tabby! So glad you have a wonderful day!! It's been raining and wet most of the day here! So glad you had a good time at the park with the kids!!!!!!!!!! I am VERY proud of you!! I went to Curves last night after work and came home and we had to take the car to my son so he could get home from work after midnight...instead of me following my husband over with the car, I rode over with him and we walked home! About 4 miles! I felt so good when I got home!! I am so glad I chose to have this surgery! I can't remember the last time I felt this good about myself! Hugs, Holly

WOW TABBY, What a great day so far!!! I am hoping my weekend is that nice.. a 14??? That is so wonderful!!! GREAT JOB!! I went to Ross last night and bought a Fully lined PINK (yes pink) suit!! for only $30.. both pieces... It is so pretty.. I am wearing it to church for Easter.. It is such a "Tiffany" suit.. Pink and White with ribbon on the pockets.. lol.. I love it!!! a size 14 too.. I bet your jean skirt is so cute. I love all the clothes you have on in your picutres!! Cant wait till I see this one.. Hi Tabby So sorry I am late in replying but I haven't been on much lately. That is great that you took your kids to the park and had a wonderful time. They have their Mommy back!!!!! It is such a good feeling to be able to do these things with our kids again. And as for those size 14's, Hooray!!!!! That is soooooooo awesome! Your new pic is awesome. You have changed so much!
