He's out!!!!
My dad went with me to court this morning. Before we went into the court room my dad spoke with my son's lawyer and told him that if the judge would let Chris have bond then he would live with my them and they would make sure he walked the line until this thing is over with. My dad worked in corrections for 28 years so putting my son in his grandparents hands is about the best thing. The judge wanted to look at the police report first before he decided if he would let him post bail. It took about 3 hours before the judge got back to us. My dad and I sat with my son in the little room over at the jail the whole time we were waiting. They were super nice....they came in and asked if Chris would like to have a plate to eat...of course Chris never passes up food...lol. It was sooo funny...I had to feed him because he had the handcuffs on. After the judge came back from lunch they called us in. They let Chris have a $10,000 bond!!!! After I found out that he was diffently getting out I went on to work while my dad called to find a bondsman.
I want to thank ALL of you for all your prayers and thoughts. God is up there and he does listen. I just hope he hears all of us for Deanne sake. I am really worried about her. Thanks so much Susan for the updates on her. Just when I think my life is going down the tubes I hear of someone that is worse off. My heart goes out to Deanne and her family!!!!
Thanks again everyone.... you are a wonderful bunch of people!!!

lisa,
i am so happy to hear that chris got out on bail. you must be so relieved that he will be with your parents and not in jail. do they live close to you? i spent the evening shopping with my 20 year old son, and thought of you and chris often. i will continue to pray that he is innocent.
best regards,
patricia
Oh thank you Patricia!!! That is so sweet to think of me and my son while you are out shopping together. Is your 20 year old easy to buy for like my 20 year old? I can take that boy to any shop and he can find what he wants. My soon to be 18 year old of course....lol that is another story!!!! One year my husband and I took him shoe shopping for school starting and we went to 8 YES 8 different stores and he never found what he wanted...he can be a real pain in the butt shopping. I love taking Chris
because he goes for the cheap stuff and as long as it fits he will take it.
Chris called me last night from my parents house...they live about 15 minutes away. I told him it was sooo good to talk to him without worrying about the phone bill now. He said he as already spoke with the boss where he works and they are letting him come back Monday. He is coming down with my parents this morning and we are all cleaning house. I am going to get him to move his car to the back of our yard and put a tarp over it and cancel the insurance on it. He will not be needing it anymore for awhile. My dad will be taking him every wheres he needs to go. NO MORE HANGING OUT WITH THE WRONG CROWD!!!

Hi Lisa!
Thanks for the update! I've been wondering how things went for him today. I'm so glad to hear he is being allowed out on bail and will be staying with his grandparents. Sounds like a good solution for all for right now. I know you have to be so thankful!
I will continue to pray for you guys!!
Susan
OH YAY, LISA!!! I'm so glad that Chris got out on Bail. I bet you feel a great weight lifted off of your shoulders. It is great that your Dad will make him toe (is it toe or tow???? I never do know) the line. How long will it be before you get the DNA results?
I'm still praying for your family. It is good to hear that God is listening. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...listen to our prayers about Deanne!!!
Hugs,
Tabby
