Susie Homemaker - Monday
Hi everyone!
I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't do much last week except try to maintain while the kids were home for Spring Break. It's hard to keep the house clean when they walk thru the room behind me messing it up again!
However, they are back at school today, so I have a list and this place is gonna shine by the end of the week!! I'd like to make it all sparkle today, but I know I'd kill myself trying to do that...so I'm sticking to my one room a day serious cleaning with pick-ups in the rest of the house. I know by Friday it'll be back to it's normal state of clean and shiny. It's so nice to know that!!!
The list of regular chores:
1. Laundry - wash, dry, fold, put away.
2. Make all the beds.
3. Dishes
4. Sweep kitchen.
5. Start dinner (having roast in the crock pot, so I have to get that going soon.)
Today I clean the living room and entry.
1. Declutter!!!!! This will take a while. Between the kids and dh, the place is a wreck.
2. Dust
3. Vac
4. Put away dog toys (I swear they emptied their toy box last night!)
5. Spot clean carpet (Hmmmm...isn't this on there every week??? LOL)
6. Sweep front and back porches.
7. Wash afghans
8. Clean tv, monitor and glass doors
9. Water plants
10. Wipe walls and switchplates for fingerprints.
So, that's what I'll be doing today. What about you? Post that list so we can all work together today!! Have a good one!
Susan
OK so I still do not have a set schedule for anything ! But I thought I would put into words what i did today.
Woke up
Made coffee for hubby
Made tea for me
sat and was laxy dazy till @ 9 when hubby rolled out of bed. I like my time in the morning to me. I am a morning person yet at the same time SOOO not a morning person!
Cleaned some dishes and odds and ends around here. Made sure Deannes gift was ready to go. (will be in the mail tomorrow)
Went to work
Took care of finishing up lunch for Matthew.
Cleaned up his lunch dishes
Put him down for hap
came down turned on Paula Deen then walked right back out fo the toom to get the dry laundry to fold and put the wet laundry in the dryer and the dirty in the washer (this is my day to bring some of our stuff to work to do if she does not have to much which today was a great day for that) Sat back down in front of Paula...well now it is Giada, Folded all the towels and cleaning towles. Waited for the dryer on the 2nd load. Made some hard boiled eggs for Matthew. Also cut up and apple and boiled it a little to make it soft then added some raisens and spices...YUM! Peeled the eggs..put them aside and made myself some tuna. YUM! cleaned all the dishes up from the cooking. Got the dry load out of the dryer put the other load in. Folded 2nd load of laundry. Put it back into laundry room. Took some time in there to eat a yogurt in the beginning and then @ 1 1/2 hours later ate some tuna melt. was YUMO! Matthew was up from Nap by 3:45 today which is way early for him. He is almost always good till 4-4:30 so that shortened things a little. But he was in a great mood and that is what matters. The rest of the night is history. The therapist came and he playede with erh for an hour then he was ready to eat and made his normal 2 year old mess Everyhting tastes better when it is messy right?? right! LOL
Anywho then we played a little I did all the dishes from dinner and put them away. So all in all I twas a tiring day for me for some reason. usually a day like this is nothing to me but lately it is just tireing. OK no much cleaned there but there reall is I guess when you clean up after the terror of matthew and his eating.
SHEESH!! Messy kiddo! Good thing he is the cutest kiddo ever.
Anywho that was my day...did not wnat you to feel alone.
Hope you had a great day.
