I'm home

Sorry I didn't have anyone update you guys my husband has beeen really busy with kids functions. I had my surgery on Thursday. I finally made it to my room at 9:30 pm. I had my gallballder takend out as well as a TT since my doctor was going to be in there and I was so close to his goal weight. I elected to go home a day early because I just couldn't get enough rest in the hospital so my husband brought me home and has been caring for me and making sure I get my meds and do what all needs to be done. I hurt that's for sure but not as bad as I had expected it. I have some pictures taken today of my tummy if anyone would like to see them. I hope all is well. How is Deanne doing? SusanL

Hey Susan, Glad you are home and doing well.. WOW, They did a Tummy Tuck for you?? Did your ins pay for it?? How cool is that.. I would love to have one now.. I would go down a few sizes I think if I didnt have all this hangy skin.. That is so cool.. I wouldnt be a good one to give you an update on Deanne. Susan is best. We will wait to hear from her.. susan, i'm so jealous you got a tummy tuck already. wow, that is awesome. i'm glad that your gall bladder surgery went well. i had mine out when i was 8 months pregnant with my now 20 year old son. that wasn't fun at all, and my scar is about 7 inches long from my sternum to down around my ribs... ugly. i can't wait for a tummy tuck. i would love to see your pics. i will pm you my email. i don't know if i should put it on here or not. anyway, it's nice that you are home with your family now, and i am wishing you a speedy recovery. fondly, patricia

I am so glad you are home and doing ok! PHEW! That is just awesome that they could do the TT at the same time. I am so sorry you are in pain but if it was like surgery you know it is a good pain. My heart thoughts and prayers are with you, Big Hugs, Melissa

WOW, Susan. I am so glad that the surgery went well and I am SOOOOO jealous that you got a TT already. I want one so badly. Hubby told me the other night that I need to contact a plastics surgeon and start the ball rolling on that. I'm sorry that you are in pain. But I'm sure it will be well worth it. Hee Hee. I would SOOOOOO love to see pics of you tummy. Did I mention I am jealous that you got a TT. You have been doing so well...You totally deserve it. How much did he take off? Glad to see you back. Hi Susan! Glad to see you back and doing well. WOW....a TT already??? I'm totally jealous! I was showing my kids my stomach today. They think it's big time fun to poke the loose skin and watch it wiggle. Boys!!! As for Deanne, I've been leaving them alone for a few days. Didn't want to intrude on this time while the news is still so raw, ya know? I do plan to give her a call this week. Maybe even tomorrow. By now she should be out of ICU and into a room. I'm hoping she will feel up to talking. Take care of yourself and keep us posted on how you are doing....and girl, SHARE those photos!! I can't wait to see them! Susan

Welcome home. Amazing that you have already had a tummy tuck. I dream of one, but doubt I will ever be able to get one. I lost my gall bladder 30 years ago. I still have a huge reminder of it. I hope your pain eases and you will be up and around very soon. Aime

Hi Susan: Glad that you are home and all went well. Take care of yourself and follow Dr's orders and the pain will soon be nothing but a distant memory.
