First confessions from yesterday. Yesterday was "extreme makeover Patti edition day" - I didn't get picked to help with the show so I came up with a different way to celebrate. I was already taking a 1/2 day from work due to a dentist appointment so I took myself to the eye doctor as well and got contatcts for the first time ever. Spent some free time at the mall getting some shopping done for the wedding etc. That said. I was expecting that I wouldn't be able to eat after my dentist appointment (was getting a couple of fillings) so in the morning I ate my lunch (turkey and greenbeans) and had a shake 2 hours after that (quick 30g right away). But that was about it. After the dentist and before the eye doctor I was feeling fine (just a tad bit numb) so I gave in to a craving (here comes the confession) and went to...... (sigh..I'm hearing the screams from the rest of you now)...Chick-Filet. Yes, I did. I ordered a kids meal...4pack of nuggets. I nibbled one nugget and ate a corner of a waffle fry. I got the diet lemonade with it - but didn't touch it till later in the day then only had a sip. After the eye doctor I slowly nibbled the rest of the nuggets but...I didn't touch the waffle fries. So I don't feel THAT guilty. I finished my "makeover" by 3 and didn't have a lesson to teach until 5:15 so I went to the gym and worked out for an hour. Dinner was not much better, we went to The Boys' mom's for dinner - she made chicken parm (not breaded) but I did have a tiny portion (1/8th cup) of pasta with it. It was just that kind of day. Now for Today: B: shake 25g S: soy nuts 15g L: chicken and veggies (smart one -low carb) 22g S: yogurt low carb w/ added fiber 7g D: Tilapia and veggies 20g Excercise - I pulled a muscle in my calf on Tuesday night, it was a little sore yesterday so I just worked on strength training and rode bike for 20min. Today it's KILLING ME...I think I will skip the workout for once. Fluid - 32oz in morning, 32 in afternoon 32 after work.

Honestly, I didn't scream...but I have to admit I was ANXIOUS to see what it was that you had! LOL...I'll admit my confession too from last week....my daughter made those premade Easter Cookies -- the ones that have the little decorations on them when you bake them -- well, I had 1/2 of one and I was so mad at myself afterwards....my husband, god love him, said ..."Don't be upset, you know damn well that last year you could have eaten 6 if not 12 of them at one time! And all you had was 1/2 of one!"..... Holly

Patti!!! I'm SO jealous!!!! The ONE time I tried chick-fil-a, I got excessively sick - at the restaurant. So....honestly, I don't think you did *that* bad of a thing. We all have to eat out and having the nuggets isn't "bad" it's what a normal person does when they are out all day shopping....plus, you skipped the waffle fries! WTG!!! How do you like your contacts? I'm so glad you did a Patti mini-makeover yesterday. WTG for treating yourself for a change!! *big hugs* Susan

Early confession: The best laid plans. Didn't take into consideration that my coworkers may decide to throw me a bridal shower today. (sheesh). So instead of chicken and veggiegs in a lean cuisine, I had chicken and raw veggies and a few other things, they ordered a salad that had lots of things I could eat in it so I had.. 1 oz swiss cheese 1/2 hard boiled egg 2oz chicken (it was breaded, but I picked most of the breading off) 2tablespoons full fat dressing (hey it's my party, I'll eat fat if I want to). 1 slice cucumber 1/2 hour later after gifts were opened I had 1/4 cup of a sugar free trifle they made for me. Sugar free angelfood cake, sugar free pudding, sugar free wipped topping and strawberries and blueberries, it was yum, I couldn't fini**** - but gave some to Clarke (who they managed to slip into the office without me seeing!)

Well, it wasn't as much of an "I was bad confession" as an ..." I strayed from my plan" confession. I love that I know what I can eat, and even on days when I don't eat exactly as I planned, I know I haven't strayed far from the path. My coworkers have been amazing though this whole journey. The sugar free trifle was so cute, they made sure they didn't even make a cake or have anything sugary at the party. They all loved the dessert anway, in fact, they had to run and scoop out a serving for me while I was opening gifts because they were afraid I would never get a taste.
