Hi everyone!! Bet you all thought I was skipping today! Just forgot to do it this morning - that's what happens when I sleep in really late and am still fuzzy when I get on the computer. 1. Were you considered cool when you were a teen....or were you a nerd.....or what? Cool??? Me????no way! I was a "band geek" all the way (this one time, at band camp....) 2. Are you considered cool now? No, but I am no where near the geek I was. 3. What is your favorite board game? Balderdash - though I've only played it a few times. 4. Did you have acne when you were a teen? How about now? Yes, terrible acne (as a teen). Now, in the past year or so it's cleared up, but I do have som (TMI, I know) BACKne. 5. What are you wearing today? A blue knit top from Goodwill, brown cords - from a coworkers cousin who gave me a bunch of clothes, and brown clogs from my sister-in-law. (Cost of entire outfit $0, cost of the feeling of wearing something labled Size 18:Priceless!) 6. Do you regularly use a ceiling fan during the summer? winter? Yes, both. 7. If you won the lottery, what would you do the first day? Probably pay off all my bills, then quit my job (hey, I'm honest). 8. What is your favorite message emoticon? Why? I like cuz it reminds me of my cheese grin sometimes. 9. Do you look for 4 leaf clovers in the spring? Have you ever found one? 10. Good pasta (spaghetti preferably w/ sausage and peppers and onions, sauce and tons of cheese) such a meal. Ooooo and don't forget the cheese, please.

1. Were you considered cool when you were a teen....or were you a nerd.....or what? Hmmm....I was pretty geeky in high school. Not part of the cool crowd, or really any of the cliques. I just did my own thing...and was sort of on the fringes of everything. 2. Are you considered cool now? My kids tell me I'm a cool Mom and all their friends like to come to our house to hang out.....so, yeah, I think I'm "cool" now. 3. What is your favorite board game? CLUE!!!! I almost always win. I also love Scrabble and Upwords. 4. Did you have acne when you were a teen? How about now? Just a stray pimple every now and then the week before my period. Still having that problem! UGH!! You'd think at almost 40 I would outgrow that problem! 5. What are you wearing today? Tan pants and a red shirt....which WAS one of my best and favorite shirts. However, I just cooked fajitas for my son and me for lunch and got grease splattered on it. UGH UGH UGH 6. Do you regularly use a ceiling fan during the summer? winter? Summer...ALWAYS!! In every room. Of course, now that I'm cold all the time, that may change. Winter - prior to surgery I had to have the fan on in our room at night so I could sleep....now I beg my hubby to not turn it on. Took him a while to get used to the new routine. 7. If you won the lottery, what would you do the first day? First I'd scream, then I'd cry, then I'd jump up and down and continue screaming..... Then I'd hug my hubby....and then I'd call my parents to tell them...and then I'd call all my creditors and pay off everything!! Then I'd go shopping.....After that, I'd call a financial counsellor and meet with a bank to get the money invested properly so I could live off the interest for the rest of my life. 8. What is your favorite message emoticon? Why? Hmmm...I have several favorites. The top ones would have to be these: and Why? Because they are so expressive and really help convey what I mean - as we all know sometimes words can be taken so many different ways. If you add an emoticon, you sort of give a facial expression to the words. 9. Do you look for 4 leaf clovers in the spring? Have you ever found one? I've always looked, but never ever have I found one. I had a friend who could walk thru our college campus and end up with a bouquet of them! It was unreal! I do have one though. Got it last year when my son was in the hospital over St. Patrick's Day. The gift shop had real 4 leaf clovers encased in an acrylic ball attached to a keychain. I've carried it with me ever since. It's so pretty!! 10. If you could eat any meal you wanted right now and not dump, be sick, be over full or it mess up your weight loss in ANY way, what would it be? Hmmmm....I'd go to a restaurant and start off with cheese sticks for appetizers, then have a nice medium well steak with loaded mashed potatoes and grilled veggies and garlic toast. To drink I'd have a huge frozen margarita and for dessert I'd have a molten chocolate cake. Ahhhhh....Chili's I miss you so much!!!! Of course, now when I go there, I have a skewer of grilled shrimp, grilled veggies and water - which I don't drink. And, I bring most of the food home with me because I can't eat all of it! Such is life.

I was in National Honor Society and was in the marching band. I was, however, very surprised when my senior class voted me "Most Fun to be Around". Guess I was more popular than I thought. 2. Are you considered cool now? I like to think so. I wish I had more friends, but my friends that I have a great!!! I am also now in charge of planning my class reunions, so all of my classmates love me now. Hee Hee. 3. What is your favorite board game? Uno ATTACK!!! It is so much fun. I love card games. I love Euchre and Canasta. I also love Backgammon. 4. Did you have acne when you were a teen? How about now? Nope. I only get a zit or two when it is my TOM. My hubby sees one on my face and says "Did you start your period?" 5. What are you wearing today? My Old Navy Navy Blue velour sweatsuit with a pink cami. 6. Do you regularly use a ceiling fan during the summer? winter? I would if I could. Hubby did not put one in our bedroom addition because he knows how much I run them. I run them everywhere else in the house in the summer. Not in the winter. We have an old house and not very insulated, so it doesn't get very warm in the winter. 7. If you won the lottery, what would you do the first day? SHOPPING SPREE!!!! Brand new Wardrobe. I'd say get a massage and mani/ped after that, but I'm sure I would spend so much time shopping that I wouldn't have time to do anything else. 8. What is your favorite message emoticon? Why? I have found one before, but don't really look for them now. 10. I SOOOOOO Totally love the Sirlion at Texas Roadhouse with the loaded baked potato and green beans. oohhhh and don't forget about the yummy rolls with cinnamon butter. I never thought that about myself, but someone told me I was so quiet and kept to myself that some people honestly considered me stuck up! 2. Are you considered cool now? Well, my kids and their friends say I am COOL! That makes me feel good! 3. What is your favorite board game? I don't have a favorite board game, but I love to play cards! 500 rummy! 4. Salad, steak, CRAB LEGS!!!, Carrot cake AND cheesecake.

o'k, i'm going to give this a try... i usually don't answer because i hate to type!!! but i loved the jewlery questions the past couple of days.... so i want to answer that one now: i NEVER (and that means all day, all night, and in the shower, and in the pool, and any oceans i have been in) go without my engagement ring, diamond anniversary band, a watch (i have two that i switch on and off), earings, necklace, three bracelets, another right hand ring (usually a rhodalite garnet, but lately my daughter's engagement ring because she asked me to take it to the jewelers and i haven't gotten there yet, i'm afraid if i take it off i will lose it and she would kill me), and three full circle toe rings... yes i said three but they are all on the same toe and very thin. two plain gold ones and one floral silver one in between them. they have been on since i got them about 6 years ago xcept for surgeries. now that i have lost weight, if i walk around barefoot and it is quiet, i sound like the dog's tags on her collar!!! my one bracelet that i truly love is the aids bracelet. it is sterling bangle with a yellow gold aids ribbon on one side. when i first saw it on a friend, i thought is was for breast cancer and i had to have one. inside it is inscribed "until there's a cure...". all the prophets go to aids research, and i just truly love it. enough about my jewels... i do love this subject though, can you tell? 1. Were you considered cool when you were a teen....or were you a nerd.....or what? i was in between i would say, i hung with student government crowd and the atheletes, but i never really had a boyfriend... lots of guy friends though. 2. Are you considered cool now? i'm cool now, i don't care wht anyone else thinks. i was always the sports mom. the parties were at my house, i was on all the booster boards and swim club boards, etc. now that my kids are out of school, i have nothing to do, so i have to "get a life". 3. What is your favorite board game? probably scrabble, my husband and i play a lot, lately it's been on the computer though... we both have our laptops bedside and play games all the time. lately we've been playing yatzee for real though. 4. Did you have acne when you were a teen? How about now? no, and no. just the occasional zit here and there. 5. What are you wearing today? right now i am still in golf clothes, pants, a collared polo and a v-neck sweater...all black of course, but the polo is a stripe. i went to the course to ride along with my husband today just to get out of the house on this beautiful day. i will be changing into jeans and a sweater and my trustee birkenstocks in a few. we are going to the local high school's musical theatre's production of "beauty and the beast". my husband and i are picking up our neice and nephew to take to dinner and the show. 6. Do you regularly use a ceiling fan during the summer? winter? i can't stand to be in a room without one on... i feel like i am suffocating. 7. If you won the lottery, what would you do the first day? tell my husband that he can quit his job, and i will support him for the rest of his life so that he can play golf everyday!! and the next day i would buy a beach house that i can't afford now because my husband plays golf three days a week!! 8. What is your favorite message emoticon? Why? i don't know how to get them in my posts. boo hoo... but on aim i tend to use the flirty eye batting one and the sad crying one the most. 9. Do you look for 4 leaf clovers in the spring? Have you ever found one? i look for them whenever i am out at a field or a ball game. i have found lots oand lots of them over the years. most of them ended up in my kid's equipment bags for whatever sport they were playing when i would find them. 10. If you could eat any meal you wanted right now and not dump, be sick, be over full or it mess up your weight loss in ANY way, what would it be? i like the idea of "thanksgiving dinner". but i really want a cinnabon!! now you see why i can't answer these every day.... i talk too much!!!

1. Were you considered cool when you were a teen....or were you a nerd.....or what? I was pretty much my own girl. I was shy and bullied in junior high, but when I started high school, at a school that then had about 4000 kids in it, I decided to re-invent myself. I pretended to be...not afraid until I just wasn't any more. I feel good about who I was in high school, because I had a couple close friends and I talked with pretty much everyone...and the kids who were too intimidated to talk to most people were comfortable talking to me. 2. Are you considered cool now? I'm still pretty much my own girl 3. What is your favorite board game? Monopoly. 4. Did you have acne when you were a teen? How about now? Around ages 11-13, then it settled down and became occasional. Now, the occasional spot...usually before my period...god, I can't wait till I have no more periods! Wouldn't it be great to have our 19 year old skin forever?!?! 5. What are you wearing today? Right now, stretch pants I wore home from the gym, a black t-shirt, and still got my good sneakers on. 6. Do you regularly use a ceiling fan during the summer? winter? No. 7. If you won the lottery, what would you do the first day? Hire a lawyer and financial advisor, tell some people, cry a whole lot, give thanks. 8. What is your favorite message emoticon? Why? ...I like the blush. When I flirt, I usually end up laughing and blushing. If it were laughing after it winked, it would be perfect. 9. Do you look for 4 leaf clovers in the spring? Have you ever found one? No; no. 10. A steakhouse steak, char-grilled, black on the outside, red on the inside. Baked potato with butter and sour cream. Sauteed mushrooms and onions. Oh, and French onion soup to start. A moist, fudgy hot brownie topped with vanilla ice cream to finish.
