starting to throb...

i just had my second oral surgery, and the anesthesia is just starting to wear off. this is going to be a doozy, i think, because it is already throbbing. he opened it back up today and shaved and recontoured the bone. 6 stiches to close the darn thing. it's bigger than the largest of the 6 holes i had for my wls. lol. i got my cards written last night, and picked up stamps today. my son will drop them in the box on his way back to work today. i really get a lift when i recieve them, and even witing them lifts my spirits. i am still in this funk, but am feeling guilty for feeling this way when deanne is going through what she is going through. i just keep reminding myself that two years ago they found that my aunt had late stage colon cancer, and after surgery and chemo, she is now cancer free. i am praying for the same for deanne. it was a long and bumpy road, but she feels better than ever now. thanks for listening... you girls mean a lot to me. fondly, patricia p.s. i really love everyone's new avitars... i will have to forward some pics to felicia that i couldn't get on my profile.

Oh man I soo feel your pain. I hope you feel better REALLY soon. AND I hope they gave you something for pain that you can take. If they did not maybe you are like our house where we have TONS of pain meds left from surgery. Neither one of us really used it after we just did tylenol so we have lots of it here. Get to and start to feel better really really soon. I am so glad you enjoy the cards as much as I do. I can not wait to check the mail each day. Rest up and feel better soon. Hugs, Melissa

IT'S WONDERFUL THAT YOU AUNT CAME THROUGH COLON Ca AND CHEMO AND IS NOW Ca FREE. I MYSELF AM GOING THROUGH A SIMILAR THING W/ MY MOTHER ONLY IT'S STAGE 3 LUNG CANCER. SHE'S COMPLETED RADIANT AND CHEMO. UNFORTUNETELY THEY CAN'T OPERATE BECAUSE OF THE TUMORS LOCATION. THE TUMOR IS LOCATED IN THE UPPER LOBE OF THE RIGHT LUNG AND WARPS AROUND THE BACK OF THE BRONCHIAL TUBE. THANKFULLY BETWEEN THE RADIATION AND CHEMO THE TUMOR HAS SHRUNK IN HALF AND HAS A HOLLOW CENTER. WE'LL LISTEN TO YOU ANY TIME YOU NEED IT. DONNA, SFY
