News about Deanne

please let deanne know that i am thinking about her and that she has been and will continue to be in my prayers. i also am in shock. anything you all want to do as a board, let me know, i am definately in. i will pick up a card tomorrow and send it to her home address, i'm sure that her husband will be back and forth a lot and can take it in to her. please send her my best wishes and prayers. fondly, patricia

Thanks everyone for the outpouring of love to Deanne. I will pass along your messages the next time I speak with her. oh, no...that is not what I wanted to hear. I'm so sorry for what Deanne and her family are going through right now. I am definately praying for her and send positive thoughts her way. I hope that they can take care of this and get her on the road to recovery. Damn!!! This just isn't fair. I would also love to contribute if anyone else is interested to get her flowers or something to make her feel good. If anyone else is interested, like Melissa said, we could contribute through Paypal and get her something special. Tabby that is a fantastic idea. That looks like an awesome robe! And it owuld sooo last longer than flowers. Love flowers but my thought after posting is that she will get a TON of flowers too so I think your idea Rocks. Oh no. That is not the news I wanted to hear. I'm dealing with the same type of cancer in a good friend of mine here and watching her struggle. I am a prayer and praying is exactly what The Boy and I are doing right now. I'll try to get out at lunch time and get a card. I like the bath and body idea...and...if no one else has one, I do have a paypal account. Please keep us updated.

Dear Susan: Thank you for the update and thanks for being our representative. Tell Deanne that I am thinking of her and sending good thoughts her way. Something very similar happened to a "friend" of mine from the lightweight board who lives in Alaska, at about the same time in her journey. It turned out not to be malignant, but she never really posted as to what it actually was. She is doing fine now. Would it be too much to hope for that this is the same sort of mistake? Let me know the address so that I may send something, and I may be able to join in with you all if you do a group thing. Dawn
