WOOOO HOOOO....WOW!!!
Today I wanted to go shopping because Fashion Bug was having a "Buy 1 Get 1 for a $1" sale. I told Hubby I was going no matter what. I have a baby shower tomorrow, a funeral service on Monday and a family dinner on Tuesday that I don't have anything dressy to wear to them. Everything that I have been buying is Jeans and tops because I work from home and don't need anyting dressy to wear.
I went in the store and headed straight to the clearance rack. I grabbed an armful of shirts in size 18/20. There was a shirt that I had seen online and on the postcard I got from Fashion Bug that I loved. When I went to get it, they only had a 14/16 or a 22/24 in stock. I figured I'd grab the 14/16 and shrink into it.
When I went to the dressing room and started trying on the tops, I didn't like the way the first three looked on me. I realized they didn't look good because they were too big on me. I grabbed the 14/16 top and tried it and IT FIT!!! I was so excited. I can't remember the last time I fit into a 14/16. I left the dressing room and returned to the clearance racks and looked in the size 14/16 section and tried again. I ended up with about 8 tops, a sweatsuit, a new bra, a pr of black pants (also in 14/16's) and a pr of jammies in a Misses size XL. What an exciting shopping day. I would love to go back to town tomorrow to try to pick up some new shoes and a dress, but I know I can't convince hubby I need to go. Hee Hee.
What a productive shopping day.
Thanks for reading.

What a wonderful WOW moment. Soon you will be in size 12. I didn't stay in 16's or 14's very long but I still wear my 14's even though they are big on me and I can fit into a 12 just right. You too will be there keep up the good work. I love to shop now but I always find myself looking in plus sizes still.
Your Friend.

Thanks, Susan. I hope that I'm not in the 14's and 16's very long. I have a feeling I will be, though. My size 16 jeans are comfortable now, but the 14's are WAY too tight. I can't wait to get into a size 12. That is just way cool. I'm so proud of you for how tiny you are getting. WTG girl!!! I did stray over to the misses side of Fashion Bug and felt like people were looking at me like "You're on the wrong side of the center tile". I grabbed a shirt in an XL from a rack on the edge, just to see if an XL would fit me yet and it was small, but not REAL small. With the extra skin and rolls, I didn't feel comfortable in it, but was OK to get the XL for jammies to wear to around the house and to shrink into better.
Hugs to you,

WOW TABBY!! How great is that??? I bet you feel so good!!! I am so proud of you!! You are so beautiful inside and out! I bet the clothes look great on you!!!
Luvs and Hugs!
Oh yea.. P.S. I got the jeans out to send to you today and realized they are 18's not 16's.. I dont think they will fit you now?? Let me know and if not I will offer them to someone else here..

Aw, thanks, Tiff. You are so sweet. I can't wait to wear some of the new clothes. YAY.
Yeah, don't think the 18's will work right now. I have a few pr of 18's and wore a pr to the hospital last week so I would be more comfortable. I haven't been wearing them much, other than that. Actually getting ready to get rid of them permanantly. Thanks for the offer.
Have a great evening.
Hugs,
Tabby
That is GREAT Tabby!!!! I love going to Fashion Bug!!! They have such nice clothes and they last a looooong time. I have a night gown that I bought about 15 years ago and it still is very good condition. I have found that with the way I am built that the clothes runs a little small on me verses the clothes I buy at Wal-Mart. I could fit in true honest to God 14's if it wasn't for my damn belly!!! It has melted away some but has a long way to go. I will just have to deal with it though because I am not going for any plastic surgery!!! I say that now but just wonder how I will feel years down the road. I will have to be in a completely different frame of mind to decide to have any skin reductions done.
LOL....now I want to make a trip to Fashion Bug to see what I can find...darn you Tabby hehehehe
