Update on Deanne
Hi everyone!!
I spoke w/Deanne this afternoon again.
She has seen the doctor who has been attending her and her surgeon both today. It looks like they will probably have to do surgery. They are just waiting to get the pathology results from the biopsy they did during the colonoscopy.
According to the docs, it could be a stricture that she has had for a while, but didn't cause any problems until she started eating more food. Or it could be colon cancer. Right now, they don't know what it is, so they don't know what is causing it. She's trying to keep her spirits up and not do the "what if" thing right now. I know it has to be hard for her.
She thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers and support thru all that she's been going thru.

Hi, Susan. Thank you for the update. I just can't believe that Deanne is going through all of this and has no answers yet. When will she get her results from teh pathologist? Man, I hope that everything is going to be OK. I just don't know what to say, other than "Please let her know that we are here waiting and praying that she is going to be OK and she is loved."
Please let her know that the next time to you talk to her.
Hugs,
Tabby
Susan,
Thanks for the update! Now I have a really stupid question for everyone. Are we after surgery more likely to have colon problems? While I was in the hospital this week they mentioned my colon and bowls were swollen but didn't do much about it or do any further test except the CT scan. They dealt with my gallbladder only and will be removing it this coming Thursday. I wonder if I should talk to my dr about it to make sure there isn't something going on or have him look when he is in there just to be on the safe side of things.
