WOW had to go get a cup of coffee and pull up a comfy chair for this one ROFLMAO JUST KIDDING!!! *wink* I find it so awesome that people had so much to say about these topics. As much as I needed to "say" what I say its almost like everyone else need a place to "say" something to. And that makes me feel soooooo good!!! Ok you got me at the polyester LMAOOOO Girlllll If I can at least go buy new so you can *grin*. You are so going to have to take a picture of that cat LOL I wanna see what a Mainecoon cat looks like. *HUGS* we will survive this stall together!!! Its hard to be TO upset when you KNOW they will come and eventually go but MAN they are irritating while they are here... I am thrilled you liked the shake mix. *grin* told ya LOLOL. Awwwwwwwwwwwww.......That last Wow moment got me!!!! But, they are definitely happy tears of joy for you my friend!!!!! Congrats on that moment. I know you will remember and cheri**** forever. As for the #2 darn it moment....I can relate. I have a pair of pants that I can't wear out in public too. LOL I liked them....until my hubby told me they looked like pajama pants. I'm thinking....hmmm...I NEED new pajama pants, why not?? Then I realized, these were pants (capris actually) I bought when I was over 250....and they were in the "style" I was wearing then. Very loose, very flowing, ELASTIC WAIST....and had a very weird pattern to them. I don't wear that stuff anymore. So, even though I have ONE other pair of pants that actually fit and look decent to leave the house in....I'm still wearing loose clownish looking pants because I just can't bring myself to go BUY something new to wear. It's that old "I don't want to spend money on me" thing rearing it's ugly head. Especially when I know I'm not going to be able to wear them for very long. Just can't do it. All that to say, I sort of know how you feel. I'm having major clothes issues too. *big hugs to ya!!* Susan

Thanks so much for sharing this with us Felicia. I have been there and know exactly how you are feeling with the clothes and with the school bus. Have done the same thing on both occasions. Such a mind game this weight loss journey is. Baby steps, that is what we are taking each day until those wow steps come and the realization that we have conquered yet another one of our demons. Enjoy all the fun times with Joshua, I can see that both of you are loving those times. Lucky you. Have a good one....Gay

Hey girlfriend...Now you got me crying here....I can so relate to you and how you are feeling right now!!!! That is why I haven't been posting here...I feel like everyone is leaving me in their dust as they lose the weight!!!! But if you look at where we were when we started this journey we are doing fantastic!!!! It took some doing for me to finally get some of my to small clothes out and wear them again...They do fit but I liked how the old clothes feel nice and loose on me for a change!!! Like others have said to you....Put those new pants and tops on and wear them around the house...Get used to being in new clothes!!! Its hard I know but we can do it!!!!! We are learning all over again how to live and we will make it!!!!! I have been in so many stalls since WLS its not even funny anymore!!! Seems I lose a few pounds I stall for weeks then lose a few pounds and stall again for weeks!!! I haven't been exercising but I have been getting in my protein and water. Tomorrow starts a new week. Lets start like this is our first week and see how it goes for us. ((((Felicia)))) Judy

Yup you said it. "Nice and loose for a change". Thats how I am with my old clothes. I cant remember them EVER being loose and now that they are they make me feel like they are a great reminder of how much I have lost... You got a deal about the "start it like its our first week". We can do this!!! *huggles* Felicia =0)

Aw, Felicia...those are some pretty special WOW moments. You have done a great job bringing up Joshua so far, she sounds like such a caring and compassionate little guy. No wonder he makes you cry. That's awesome. Glad that you are able to get outside and play with him now. Look how far you have come. I'm sorry that you are having a hard time with your mind catching up to your body. You have come so far. You are doing great. I wish I knew what to say to make you feel better about yourself. I can't say that I understand how you feel. I was 282 lbs when I had my surgery. It wasn't until I hit about 265 that I started hating the way I looked. I had a hard time getting dressed to go places. That was when I decided that WLS was for me. I started the process and never looked back or thought twice about my decision to have the surgery. I hope that you start feeling more comfortable with yourself and know that it is just going to get better and better. Hang in there. Look at that little guy and you will know why you are doing this. How sweet is he??? Thanks for sharing with us. Hugs, Tabby

You are not alone with the clothes issue. I can't even bring myself to buy clothes as I still see myself as a plus size woman. I feel so lost on the "other" side of the store. The only thing I am comfortable buying is undergarments. However, I look at them and think there is no way I can get my fat butt into them. It does seem to take time for the brain to catch up. Hugs, A.
