Well, since I don't have to go to wor****il noon today and I got up early I decided to do some excerising I got my mat out and got on the floor and started doing leg lifts and a few other things. Chrissy my border collie mix decided since I was on the floor at her level she would want to play I turned over on my side and she laid down right up against me and was nudging me like....rub my belly mommy! So I am on the floor trying to do leg lifts and rubbing the dogs belly....do you know how difficult that is??? I finally turned over on the other side, so she jumps over me and laid down beside of me so I could continue her belly rub. DAMN!!! Finally I gave up and sat up on the mat....then she thought it was play time so she jumps up and jacks her butt in the air like she is in spring mode....barks, then starts running around like the crazy dog she is wanting to play. Well, after a few barks Darth (the black lab mix) which was in bed with my oldest son comes running to see what is going on with Chrissy. I guess he sees that I am trying to excerise since I have the mat out and trys getting Chrissy to follow him out of the room. He starts barking at her like...."come on, mom is trying to excerise you attention hound!!! Leave her alone!" I guess him try to distract her wasn't working so then I ended up with them both on top of me...chasing each other around, over and behind me. I finally gave up and rolled up the mat and said..."well, that shot that idea in the head!" No, restful peaceful time at my house! Back in the late mid to late 80's after I had my oldest son, I had an areobics(sp?) VHS tape that I would do every evening after supper. He was about 1 1/2 years old. He would try to do excerises with me and get in my way....lol. I guess I have gotten done with raising babies now I have my other children in my way to keep me from doing excerises I just can't win for losing Now that I am back in the computer chair the dogs have calmed down and going to sleep like good little doggies Lisa S

LOL, dont you love fur children? The Boy and I got a Pilates DVD from Netflix last month and pulled it out one day when we were snowed in and I couldn't get to the gym. Cookie our ****apoo went nuts trying to figure out what mommy and daddy were doing on the floor rolling around like idiots. She ran back and forth between us trying to pull off our socks, bite our noses etc. We ended up locking her in the kitchen so that we could finish in peace.

Okay, sorry. But, I can't help but at your story. It sounds exactly like what happens at my house everytime I try to exercise. Only the dogs are smaller....and there are more kids. If I'm in the computer chair, the dogs are by me sleeping, but let me try to exercise and they think it's play time for them.... Hope you are able to find a place to exercise in peace and quiet. And, when you figure it out, please share the info. Susan

Too funny!!! I can just see it. I have my kids chasing each other around me when I try to exercise when they are in the house and awake. I got my treadmill walk in today while Meg was still sleeping. If I try to do my Firm exercises, they try to use the stepper with me. VERY frustrating. Hope your "Kids" leave you alone a little to get some exercising in some time soon. Hugs, Tabby
