Another funny....

We received about 5 inches of snow last night -- my daughter had a two hour delay for school this morning! It has stopped snowing and the sun is out -- but it is still cold! Supposed to warm up by the weekend and be in the 50's and early next week be in the upper 50's...maybe Spring is on its way?! A friend of mine is raising her 10 year old granddaughter and she homeschools her. Well, she just sent me an e-mail saying that Sierra just came out of her with a bathing suit, snorkel and sun tan lotion and two beach towels. One towel has a beach scene on it - sand...the whole works and the other one has fish all over it and she is laying on the beach watching the fish because she is sick and tired of winter!! She also packed a picnic lunch to enjoy while sunning on the beach! How do kids come up with this stuff?! I wish I lived closer to them because I would be joining her on her make believe beach today!! Holly

To cute!! We do things like that all the time. Last huge snow storm we got, I dug out all the picnic stuff and Joshua and I decorated the whole living room with Spring type things and had a picnic. We also have "snow parties" in the middle of summer to "cool" things down lolol Thanks for sharing!! *huggles* Felicia =0)

Awe that is soo precious. I just love kids and their thoughts! We should all take heart and note of the positive way they look at life sometimes What a great kid! We have had snow here all day in NJ too. Maybe tomorrow I will wear my bathing suit (under my clothes of course..I am not nuts it is 8 degress outside in the sun!) tomorrow and throw a beach party at work with Matthew. YAY!!! xoxo, Melissa
