Its with my crock pot!!! I have put off for years using one of these. Don't ask me why as I have no good reason... Well the other day Hubby said "we are getting one" and I was like *sigh* yes dear... Welp I LOVE IT! I have been cooking in it for the last couple of weeks and I am just addicted. Its so easy, so clean, so take care of its self!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I don't know how many of you cook with one but I ordered to low carb recipe books for it and will share them as I make them. Here is the one I am making today. YOU SHOULD SMELL MY HOUSE! OMG to die for. Cheesy Crockpot Chicken And Vegetables Recipe 1/3 c. diced Canadian bacon or ham 2-3 carrots, sliced or chopped 2-3 celery ribs, sliced or chopped (left this out yuck) 1 small onion, sliced or chopped 2 cans mushrooms or 1/4 lb fresh, sliced 1 can green beans, drained very well ( I replaced this with corn) 1/4 c. water (used chicken broth) Layer in crock pot in order given. 2-3 lbs. chicken, cut up. Put on top of veggies, largest pieces first. 2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules 1 Tbs. chopped fresh parsley 3/4 tsp. poultry seasoning (Ok I didn't use any of the above I just put in my favorite spices and herbs - Mrs. Dash too with a touch of kosher salt) Mix together and sprinkle over chicken pieces. 1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup 1 Tbs. flour 1/4 c. parmesan cheese (I left out the flour - enough carbs in the cheese soup) Mix together and drop on top of chicken, DO NOT STIR. Cover and cook on high 3-4 hours, or low 6-8 hours. Make noodles OR rice OR mashed potatoes to serve over. This is a very versatile dish, use more/less/different veggies (I often clean out the fridge into the crock pot for this) and if the sauce is too thin you can thicken with a little cornstarch or Parmesan cheese before serving. I do not have break downs on this as I got it off the net and there were none but would be easy enough to plug into fitday and get them. I haven't tasted it yet as it still has several hours to go but OMG you should smell my house. And it has the YUMMIEST cheese topping on it. Anyways had to share the news about my new love LOLOL. *huggles* Felicia =0) Next episode of Felicia's Loves - Food Saver machine!!

YOU ROCK!!! LOL I have one I bought but use it w/ those pre-packaged crock pot meals in the frozen section. I have 3 little ones I am raising alone and I KNOW when I am going to be beat at the end of the day so I get up and put it on before leaving the house......except I cant eat them LOL they dont agree with me..........I am super excited to hear about the low carb crockpot recipes. YES the house smells awesome when you cook in them too. I also buy crockpot liner bags from the grocery store so once your done you just pull the bag out and toss it in the trash WOOHOO. Felicia your the cutest thing I swear! I love reading your posts! Hugs Margo Marie

WHAT?!?!??! THEY HAVE LINERS!?!?!?! OMG I am so having hubby look for these tonight at walmart HAHAHAHA Thanks!!! No more crock pot cleaning for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee YIPPIE! Ack 3 alone? You brave thing you!! I have 1.5 (if you count hubby lol). And that is about alllllllll I can handle. Never knew they had "dump in the pot and turn on" meals. COOL! So far the only thing I have had to learn is how to layer things... Messed up the first time and put fast on the bottom and slow on the top LMAO Ok carrots were still hard and the rest was mush *sigh* learned though!! I want to try brisket next. Have the best recipe for that and it looks soooo good in the pictures at least LOLOL. I am so addicted. I hate cooking in the spring in summer in the house. Who wants all that extra heat. This is so perfect. Ok rattling on and on here LOLOL. AWEEEEEEE Glad I'm entertaining LOL Got have a good trait somewhere don't I lolol. Have a great day! *huggles* Felicia =0)

I will not use my crock pot without a liner. It's so hard to clean up cooked on food . I pull the whole liner out and put it in a container and store the food in the refrigerator too. Those liners are a life saver...... Less to clean al around....
