Okay was waiting for the doctor's to pull there head's out of there john brown hide parts to return my calls to them. (I never did call me like nurse said he was to on Friday...Oh well) They talked and decided that I need to have the upper GI done but they are going to watch it down futher to see what is going on as that is where they think the problem is coming from. GREAT!! Maybe some answers finally, this is scheduled on Monday at 8:15 am and then an appt with the surgeon on Tues at 3:15 pm so I am hoping that I will get some news and where this is all headed after that appt on Tues. I have been keeping my chin up but being snowed/winded in is hard on the recoping part of things. lol Rest of the weekend this far. We have been stuck in the house since Thurs night due to the weather. First we got the rain then freezing rain then snow now the wind could blow over a small person. lol They called me off from work yesterday which was nice but the internet connectiong was playing games with me...ugh...they also called Hubby's work off for yesterday as well but in turn he had to work today. Not to bad if we lived in the city limits. We live 5 miles from a town...he gets almost to a main road and gets in a BIG drift 4-5 foot tall and gets his truck (manly man truck) stuck in this and thinks my little Trail Blazer is going to pull it out...yeah right now that we are all laughing out loud. Keep in mind this is 3 AM...yep...3 AM. So he figures that we are not both getting stuck in this drift he decided to take on with his manly truck that I would just take him to work. Not a big deal but have I said it is 3 AM and I do not like driving in snow. I get him there and a few minutes late...oh well. He then calls me to tell me that he drove by the road where his truck is stuck and the county was out plowing out the road, so I thought that I'd go up there and make sure they did not get it so I could get it out. Let me just say this I should of stayed in bed. I get up there and notice that they basically just piled the snow up around his back tailgate. Hmmm...I am not getting this out by myself anytime soon unless there is a rapid warm up in the next 2 minutes. lol So I get home and back to sleep and the boys decide that they did not want to go back to sleep but I insisted that they do. It is approx 4:30 AM now and they decided to do as I say as they could tell Mom was getting crabby. lol So they go back to bed and wake up at 6:30 AM...so that is my day so far. The truck is out of the drift now but it took 4 guys and a bigger truck then Hubby's to get it out...also the lost of a tire as Hubby burned the tread off the back tire so much that he needed a new one. Oh well I guess he learned a valuable lesson for living in the country...take the main roads until you see daylight. lol Kids are napping now and I am going to rest on the couch. Hugs~~ Deanne

Deanne, honey, I'm so sorry you're going through so much. I just hope that the upper gi can show what's wrong and it can be resolved quickly and painlessly. My thoughts and prayers continue to be set up to our father that he lays his healing hands on you. Try not to get discouraged and keep the faith. Donna, sfy

Oh Deanne!!! Bless your heart sweetie!!!! BIG HUGS being sent your way. I feel so awful for you. Thank goodness Monday is just around the corner. Hopefully they will have some answers after the Upper GI. I pray that it will be so! And, like Donna, I pray it will be a painless solution! You've been thru enough already!!! As for this mornings adventure with the snow and truck.... WHAT was your hubby thinking??? Oh, wait, 3 AM, man, snow, truck....no thinking happening. It was all testosterone!! Glad the boys slept for a little while at least. I'm hoping they took a nap - or at least went to bed early tonight! Take care of yourself hon. Remember, I love ya!! Susan

Deanne hun, I am sooo sorry you are having such a hard time with the doctors. It sounds like they are just as confused about what to do as you are. Just give them a chance to try everything in the book. I know sooner or later they will hit the nail on the head and you will be back on the right track. Just be patent with them but agressive to getting to the root of the problem. I must say that those upper GI's suck!!!! I had one when I was put back into the hospital a few days after surgery. I had what I would call "overactive diarrhea" which was a intestinal bactrial infection from antibotics that was given after surgery. I have had upper GI's before but right after the surgery was a bit much since I was having trouble drinking large amounts of anything because of my new baby pouch. They told me to take a BIG drink and after one two many I spewed it all over the place....lol. That stuff is nasty NO matter what flavor they try to make it . But at least they found no leaks in my new pipework. I think everyone is different in the way their body reacts to this surgery. Some have worse times than others but sooner or later everything will adjust itself or the dr will find a way to fix it. As for your little adventure with the hubby at 3am in the snow bank...that was funny. It sounds like something that would happen around here at my house!!! You know men...they get those BIG BOY TOYS and think that they are king of the road...lol. I hope you can get caught up on your sleep that you had to miss while playing "Snow Rescue" Lisa S.
