The best medicine...
...Exercise!
February ended up being a rough month for me. I got two periods, sciatic pain, and was fighting a cold, so I hadn't been to the gym for over weeks. I only lost ten pounds this month. For these and a variety of other reasons, this was not a great time for me.
I got back to the gym today and I feel brand new! I didn't make any other plans for the day, just the gym. It was amazingly difficult to push myself out the door after being away from it! I did 20 minutes on the treadmill, 10 minutes on the exercise bike, did two sets of the weight machine exercises, then worked out in the pool for about 45 minutes. Finished up with the whirlpool and sauna, then stopped at the diner on the way home and had some broiled scallops...yum!
It's 59 degrees here today. When I got in, I opened all the windows, turned on the radio, grabbed BabyBear (see picture!) and danced around the room for a couple numbers!
NOTHING beats exercise for mood elevation!

Congrats on making it back to the gym today!!!! Sounds like you more than made up for not going in Feb!!!
BTW, I'm tired just reading all the things you did! Do you think that counts as exercise for me today???? J/k

OH MY GOD! JUST READING ALL YOU DID AT THE GYM HAS MADE ME TIRED.
I'M SO SORRY YOU HAD SUCH A ROTTEN FEBRUARY, HOPEFULLY MARCH WILL BE A MUCH BETTER MONTH FOR YOU.
AND ONLY LOSING 10 POUNDS? GIRL, TO ME THAT'S GREAT, I'M A SLOW LOSER, I'M LUCKY IF I LOSE 6 POUNDS A MONTH. AND I EAT WHAT WE'RE SUPPOSED TO AND I WALK AT LEAST 1.5 MILES ON MY DAYS OFF, AT LEAST 3 DAYS AND DRINK 81 OUNCES A DAY.
SORRY TO HEAR IT'S ONLY 59 THERE, IT WAS 71 TODAY AND TOMORROW IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE SAME, SORRY, NOT!!!!
