I got a job!!!

Gay, congratulations on the new job, great accomplishment. Better yet great accomplishment w/ getting your conidence up and looking for a job. It's all gravy from here. There's nothing you can't do when you set you head and heart to the task. Donna

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. It means a lot to me. I talked with my new boss today and he even offered me other work. He asked if I would be interested in doing companionship work. Or going and basically keeping elderly company and doing small things for them. Hey, if it means getting more hours, sure. The main thing is I want to get off of Joe's insurance. It is running us close to $70 a week to insure me. If I get benefits then I can carry my own insurance at $10/month and that alone will save us $270 a month. So that is what I am shooting for. I will have orientation on Tuesday and then Wednesday is a full day of training. What after that, who knows, but I am so excited about this. I know, catch me after the week and see how excited I am. It is just the fact of stepping out of my comfort zone and facing this head on confidence and a good feeling. I think it will make me feel better helping out the family finances and meeting new people and forming new friendships. Will be interesting to say the least. Again many thanks to all of you.
