OMG where do you get all of your energy???? LOL all that I have done so far today is let the dogs out to do their "business", put in a load of towels and fixed a pot of coffee. I will be waking my son up soon to help me around here. If he isn't going to work he is going to help dear ole mom with house work!!! I see dishes as being his chore today and of course straightening up his room. I really don't think that is too much to ask. I look at it this way....after all the problems he has been causing me...he should be wanting to kiss my feet at this point!!!! He will be 21 in Sept. and has alot of mental and emotional problems...not to mention the learning disablilties. He maybe 20 but he is operating on a 12 year olds mind and a 5th graders level even though he just graduated last June. I have my hands full!!!! I try to get him to help me around the house and he recents it because his brother never has to do anything but of course he is still in school and works at Burger King in the evenings and has held that job for a little over 2 years. If course my husband only makes the messes around here along with everyone else and doesn't help me at all with housework. Best wishes with your list and I hope to get something done around here today hopefully. I am not going to try to do it all today because I have Saturday and Sunday off and will want a little something to do then. I think I may go to a Job Fair Saturday and check out this new company down the road a ways. Wal-Mart is getting old!!! Lisa S.

LOL Lisa....That was my wish list of what I wanted to do....and I actually did get MOST of it accomplished. All but the hallway closet. Guess that will have to wait till another day. After meeting with my friend and talking for 2.5 hours, I had errands to run and then back home to finish my chores before picking up the kids. Silly me, didn't do much drinking today and felt AWFUL by 5:00....I've been pouring liquids down ever since though and I'm feeling better now. DON'T forget your fluids!!! They are sooo important. Well, you got far more done than I did today. I finally got my son to do the cups and bowls before he ran out the door to go to his friends house. I would have gotten more done around here if I wouldn't have gotten sick and I mean SICK!!!!!! Last night before I came home from work I went by the produce dept to pick up some more oranges. I have been eating an orange just about every night after supper. Well, I saw that they had some beautiful shiny red apples so I bought a big bag. I thought this should help with the bathroom problems so I got apples instead of oranges. BIG MISTAKE!!! A little after lunch I decided to sit in the recliner and enjoy one of these pretty apples. I got me a knife and cut off the chunks and enjoyed every bite. The dogs even thought it looked good enough to give them some but I kept it all for myself. Well, I started watching TV and the next thing I knew I was in major pain with my stomach. I thought someone was taking a knife to my insides. OH, it was awful!!!! I got on the treadmill thinking I could walk it off and that didn't help...it got a little worse. Then I thought...ok I have got to finish the pot and pans in the sink that Chris left for me. I went out to the kitchen and I could not stand and do them...the pain was just too bad!!! I went back and got in the recliner, I couldn't stand to stretch out in it...it made my belly hurt worse. I thought, "oh ****! What the heck is wrong with me????" I got down on the floor in the fetal position and the dogs kept looking at me like I was crazy and sniffing me to see if I was ok I guess. I finally went to the bed and laid down curled up on my side. I just had to call my mom to see what I could do. My mom has a cure for everything. She asked of course "what did you eat?" I told her an apple. She said "was it cold?" Yep and good I told her. She said "did you eat the peeling?" Yep, why? She said that was my problem. I told her it felt like a ton of trapped gas and I have laid every way possible to try to get rid of it. She told me to drink water. I was in sooo much pain that I thought I would throw up if one thing went down my throat. I started forcing in water and guess what??? IT WAS TRAPPED GAS!!!!! After a while I was back to normal and I went and finished the dishes and cooked supper for hubby and I. See I told you my mother had a cure for everything. She should have been a doctor...lol. She told me not to eat cold apples and to take the peeling off before I ate them. I hadn't tried any apples since surgery only applesauce. I think before I come home tomorrow night I will be sure to pick up my oranges Have you had any problems with raw apple??? I know not to eat them now....only applesauce for me thank you Lisa S.

Bless your heart!!! I knew we weren't supposed to eat the peeling on apples, but I didn't know they should be room temp. Hmmmm...guess I need to go take my two beautiful apples out of the fridge so they can warm up. I haven't tried eating apples yet, but these were SO pretty I just had to buy them. Now I'm wondering if I should try them...... I'm so glad your Mom had a cure and that you are feeling better now. Hugs, Susan

Susan, even you light days seem hectic to me! Work is a busy day for me. Quite a few client meetings and candidate interivews, this will keep me greeting guests and juggling conference room schedules and lunches all day. I decided to put on my pedometer this morning...I'm interested to see how many steps I get in on a day like this as these are the only days I get to wonder away from my desk at all. After work: 1 lesson (6-6:30). Water Aerobics and hot tub time! (7-8:30) Pick up remaining prescription refills (they didn't have everything when I was there last night). After that...NOTHING...it's Thursday night, Grays Anatomy!!!!! See? My life isn't all madness all the time..my to-do list for today seems quite relaxing.

Yesterday was a good day! Thanks, however the aerobics instructor was not our normal one, but the subsitute. She is very fit and enjoys "whipping us into shape"...so I was very sore afterwords, and still stayed to work on some core training after that. As far as the walking, I only walked 2060 steps yesterday (this doesnt count the pool time).....today I am shooting for 3,000.

Good luck on the 3000 steps today! You can do it!!! Wow...that substitute instructor sounds hard core!!! And, so do you for that matter! Going on to do core training after the aerobics! You rock!! Susan

In less than 2 months I'm going to be prancing down a church aisle in a strapless (yes...strapless) dress w/ 200+ people staring just at me.....I wanna look good, this would be my #1 inspiration for all this excercising...I figure it's goign to have to help somewhat. (No matter what I do, though, I'm going to have to come up with a way to hide the flabby batwing arms...they don't seem to be going anywhere).
