Susie Homemaker - Monday

GOOD MORNING BACK AT YA! LUCKY FOR ME I DID MOST OF MY CLEANING YESTERDAY BECAUSE MY LOWER BACK IS KILLING ME THIS MORNING. HERE'S WHAT I DID YESTERDAY: DUSTED AND VACCUMED THE HALLS, LIVING, DINING,BED, AND SUN ROOMS. VACCUMED THE FURNITURE. DID A LOAD OF WASH THEN DRIED IT. DID A LOAD OF DISHES STRIPED AND WAXED THE KITCHEN FLOOR. CLEANED THE BATHROOMS (YUCK!!!!) THEN DID THE GROCERY SHOPPING. THEN MADE A CHICKEN BRAID FOR DINNER. (DELISH) THEN I WONDER WHY MY BACK IS KILLING ME. NO MORE CLEANING FOR ME FOR AWHILE DONNA, SFY

Donna... And you wonder why your back is hurting... I have a hint for you...re-read that list! Sorry you feel bad...but at least you have a clean house, right? Take care sweetie and let that back rest! There's nothing worse than a back ache...unless it's a stomach ache. Susan

I managed to clean my house over the weekend since we really didn't do anything, but for some reason I still needed to go home and pick up the kitchen, wash dishes, start dinner (my daughter will put it in the oven when she gets home from school!)....put a load of towels in the dryer....and leave a list of things for my daughter, Rachel, to do when she gets home ....which is sometimes a big joke! KIDS! I think I like coming to work.....work at home is much harder!! Hats off to those of you who are stay at home moms!! Holly

Hee hee Holly...I agree. Work was so much easier than being home cleaning house. Now that I'm SAH again, I envy working Moms....especially those who have kids who can/will help out. My boys were really great about it, I have to admit. But, they are very happy that I'm here taking care of things again. Susan

Okay...here is my update: 1. Make my bed. DONE 2. Laundry - wash, dry, fold, put away. DONE 3. Dishes - at least the ones I don't have the kids wash for me! DONE 4. Sweep kitchen. DONE Today is the day the Living Room gets it's concentrated cleaning. In there I will: 1. Clean fireplace. DONE 2. Vac DONE 3. Dust DONE 4. Water plants DONE 5. Declutter DONE 6. Clean tv and computer monitor DONE 7. Clean windows (just the inside) DONE 8. Spot clean furniture DONE 9. Spot clean carpet - later tonight ...maybe. LOL 10. Straighten entry way closet - tomorrow....maybe...LOL 11. Sweep front porch - Nope.... But, I did these that weren't on my list: 1. Clean the handprints off the wall. 2. Cleaned the front doors inside and out 3. Wash baseboards in the entry way. So, I got MOST of the list done.
